Christine, the long time lunchtime bar-keep's son in law is the brewer at Tappit in Santa Cruz, a great craft brewery, so Coopers must get the best Tappit IPA in the galaxy, it's amazingly drinkable.

We had a very good lunch in the tavern prior to visiting Ananda for the tulip display. The bar tender served us and she was excellent, friendly, and very helpful. The food was beautiful, fresh, and delicious. The chef's work was very creative. We had an Argentinian Malbec that was excellent. We will be back. Thanks for joining us on your way to the tulip gardens! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Well, it was TUESDAY in Nevada City and hardly any good food places are open nor open for a late lunch. Crazy Horse was open and bit busy. The gal gave us excellent service and was attentive. Their menu touts "elevated" bar food, not so much at least for what I ordered. Thought I'd go different and do the Philly Chicken=blech, dry, on some kind of hot dog bun, limited ingredients, it was like they gave me 1/2 or less of the meat, peppers and hardly any cheese. I ordered it was Tots, they were very generic and kind of greasy - I was hoping for "elevated" maybe sweet potato tots or Trader Joes has a fantastic non-greasy tasting tot with extra spices. My partner ordered a caesar salad and it was ok, wish I had ordered that instead. Will go back again for the Service and potentially try some other food.

Fresh food, fresh beer, fresh people. Where to go for fresh craft beer, sports and handmade pub food for the whole family. We use locally sourced food and focus on details, like house-ground, hormone-free beef, house-made dressings and daily specials.
Wandered into Jerniganâs after visiting the Ol Republic brewery across the street. This was seriously the best burger Iâve ever had. I mean EVER. Onion rings too! Simple menu but everything is fresh & the sauces are all homemade. Staff is awesome. Great beers too. The owner is opening a new place called Roost soon. Asian fusion. I have no doubt it will be amazing. I will be back for sure!

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Our favorite âlocalâ place while visiting Nevada City. We have a cabin in Nevada City and have been visiting for over 50 years. This is always a stop when we visit. Our teenagers love their burgers and pizzas.

We spent an unexpected night in Nevada City during a recent snow storm on Hwy. I-80. We ventured into Nevada City to make the most of our trip and had such a fun evening. We stayed at a fantastic Inn that was walking distance to downtown and Friar Tuck's Restaurant & Bar came highly recommended. We arrived just before 5 pm and were told the restaurant seating was not open till 5 so we sat in the bar. We ended up staying in the bar and ordering off the menu as we were very comfortable, the service was great, and live music was scheduled to start at 6:30 pm. The place was packed by 6 pm and everyone seemed to know one another. Very friendly place, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend!Thank you for the review! We are so glad we could help you make the most of changed plans during the storm. Hope to see you again soon.

Popped in for lunch (this is a no reservations restaurant anyway). Although busy, we were able to find a table no problem and the service was good (our order came out real quick). Our group had a mixture of food from sandwiches (melts) to pizzas to burgers. The ham and oyster mushroom melt was delicious! The range of beers brewed on site at their micro-brewery was so good that we decided that we would opt for 2 âflightsâ meaning we got to sample 10 beers (there were four of us, so wasnât too indulgent). A very enjoyable experience and am sure the Three Forks must be enjoying great success serving up great food and beer in a friendly environment.

Casual white linen dining. Come see our new 1,100 sq ft dining room, featuring a view of Deer Creek. We also offer a full bar with daily drink specials. Enjoy our creekside patios, upper bar and wine tasting room. Think of us for gourmet burgers, pizza, e
Went with a friend for lunch. We ate outside on the lower deck close to the water. It was delightful. The food is high quality and the service was ok. Our waitress was a little off that day. Portions are in line with pricing. Really enjoyed my burger and fries and my friend gave me a bite of her crab cake. It was delicious too. Take some time for a great lunch by the creek and enjoy a well prepared meal at this fine restaurant.
