Ate here one night whilst in Mouscron as a change from our usual Paix and frankly it was a mistake. The place has a good location , friendly staff and nice facilities but the food lets it down. My mixed grill was a little short on meat , it contained what I can only describe as a poussin,s drumb stick , but bulked out with an unbaked baked potato. My partners Gigot de lâagneau ( leg of lamb ) was advertised as being served with Dauphinoise potato but she also received an underdone spud sitting on the plate like a left over cannonball from waterloo . The lamb was far too chewy and she gave up. Well at least the beer was drinkable but you are in Belgium , so I would expect so anyway.Dear Mr Murpy,We are really sorry you did not appreciate the meal you had in Le Passé Simple.We do have a very friendly staff, and food quality is usually really appreciated. We are sorry about this experience, and hope , maybe, in a next visit, you might change your mind.best regards

The Terrasse des Flandres is the hotel restaurant of the Altia Hotel in Neuville-le-Ferrain, directly at the autoroute Gent-Kortrijk-Lille directly at the French-Belgian border.Conveniently located it offers a 7/7 service with standard French, local and hamburger dishes. Good service, nice terrace ( in April 2019 closed for refurbishment), small wine list, very decent prices.Good for business travellers, nothing for gourmets.

We visited this premises twice for food whilst on a Leger holiday. Staff were amazing. I tried my awful French to order food and drinks. Staff were brilliant. They understood what I wanted on both occasions and were positive about my attempts to speak French. Now the food. Absolutely gorgeous. My partner had the stew. Twice. Perfect. Being a non meat eater there was lots to choose from. Food was fantastic. Staff attentive and polite. I always make a point of speaking the language where I am. Doesnât matter if I get it wrong. Itâs always appreciated. And it was here.

I ate here last night with my husband and had a lovely evening. Beautiful old house renovated equally beautifully inside. We got a very friendly welcome, the restaurant was empty when we arrived (we were early) but it wasn't long before we were joined by equally friendly locals. It's very much in the style of an Estiminet, so not fancy, just very good local food with a great selection of French and Belgian beers. We started with two glasses of champagne, excellent terrine and a great crevette croquette. Then a bottle of Provencal rosé, two steaks (perfectly cooked) with sauce and fries. And to end, two puddlings (their café gourmand is amazing!) ... and all for 79euros! My only disappointment was not having any money on us to leave a tip (thankfully they take credit cards) but we'll be back, so next time I'll leave double.

Needed a meal after arriving at hotel with no facilities. Found L'entre Deux from trip advisor. Great service and friendly ambience. Good value excellent food and some great tap beers. What more could you want :-)
