A place several centuries old, with brewery machines, fully booked with local people (must be good), great service and a really really wonderful meal, then you make the deal!!!. We ordered local beers, a pork Cordon Blue and Schweinhaze made to perfectionIt is a must while in Heidelberg

Good traditional food, reasonably fast service, excellent beer in traditional clay steins, the outside beer garden was a great atmosphere, but the inside hall had a sort of beyond cool shabby chic that is difficult to describe unless you just stand in the room and look up at the ceiling. Proper old-school. Did I mention very tasty house-brewed beer?

While visiting the city on a Saturday we ducked in here as the rain fell. Took a seat at the bar and spent the better part of two hours drinking beer. The bartender was great. Atmosphere is perfect and the food looked great. We will be back to eat next time

Een typisch Duits restaurant. Eten is simpel, maar van goede kwaliteit. Grote porties. Bediening is vriendelijk en snel. Specialiteiten zijn de pannenkoeken. Pannenkoek met snitsel is een aanrader, ook al klinkt de combinatie vreemd. Let op: je kan er niet pinnen.
