Our first time to Nantucket and really enjoyed our burger and fries at Lola's. The "special" fry sauce is delicious. My 12 y/o really enjoyed her milkshake. For Nantucket, I thought it was very reasonably priced. I would definitely go back the next time I visit Nantucket.

We decided to eat here for lunch after getting off the Hi-Line ferry. Very crowded but they found a table for the 4 of us outdoors. We did get a wonderful breeze. We had the Fish & Chips. The food and service was great.

Casual, friendly pub with live music. Nice cocktails, including some creative alcohol-free selections. My friendâs mocktail was delicious. When the waitress asked how the food was tasting and we reported the clams were rubbery, she brought an entirely new and better batch with apologies from the kitchen. Grilled veggie sandwich and warm lobster roll were tasty. We loved the guitar player who was just loud enough to be heard but didnât overwhelm any chance for conversation, and his excellent song list.

The Charlie Noble is a true blend of classic and progressive regional New England cuisine. We provide a casual, yet comfortable setting with a focus on quality and service. We feature an All Day Raw Bar and house made specialties such as House Made Choriz
We came here first for a cocktail before we our reservations down the street. The atmosphere was comfortable and the bartender was very friendly and professional. The next night, we came back and the same bartender made some excellent suggestions. The food was very good and service friendly.

Visited on our first night on the island having been travelling all day and after something relaxed and relatively quick.BoT was perfect. The shared starter of calamari was lovely - glad we didnât have a starter each though, the portion was enormous! The burgers were excellent too, especially my chilli burger with homemade chilli, homegrown jalapeños and chilli chocolate on the bun.

This is the type of pricey restaurant where you want everything to be perfect. The first small disappointment was the $49 peppercorn filet my husband ordered medium but it arrived medium well (almost no pink to be found in the meat) with hardly any flavor. It might be considered a good cut of meat but we wanted perfection and my husband was too hungry to complain about the over-cooked meat. However my $42 halibut tasted amazing. The second small disappointment was the port wine we ordered with our dessert. Listed on the menu for $15 but put on our bill at $16. The kind waiter explained he delivered an old dessert menu by accident. Again just missed the opportunity to make things perfect by offering to match the menu price we were given.Nantucket has so many phenomenal restaurants at high but not incredibly high pricing that itâs hard to justify spending the extra $10 a plate over everywhere else on the island. If everything had been perfect then I would be bragging about the setting and the incredible staff and saying I understand why itâs more money then other places but thatâs not my review due to only a couple of small disappointments.Dear Sulouwill,I'm so sorry to read your review..... You "small" disappointment are disappointing to read....My apologies about your husband's steak, I wish he would have said something so we could have grilled him another "perfect" steak as I agree that an overcooked steak is disappointing to say the least. Glad you loved your Halibut and I would love to brag about the incredible setting overlooking the Nantucket Harbor and seeing the boats/ferries come and go all day/evening.....I certainly hope you and your husband will give us another chance to show you our true BPG experience!! When returning, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] or via phone at 508.638.3417.... Cheers,Mark BronkeDirector of Food & BeverageWhite Elephant Hotel - Nantucket

CRU is a premier oyster bar offering casually elegant cuisine in a visually stunning waterfront setting on Nantucket harbor.
Great vibe at this spot on the harbor! Enjoyed champagne and oysters during restaurant week! We were looking for a nice spot with a view to have lunch and our driver from our hotel suggested Cru.. My husband had a lobster salad which he enjoyed. I noticed at another table that the lobster roll looked huge and the lady even said to her partner that she was really happy with her choice . I had a salad with grilled chicken. My only issue was that I donât like blue cheese dressing and unfortunately the waiter could only offer red wine vinegar as a substitute. Hard to believe they only have one salad dressing??? It was supposed to come with grapes , walnuts and apples. It did not have any of these and when I asked about it I was brought a bowl of grapes. Weird. Otherwise I would give the place a 5 star review. I think our waiter had a difficult time understanding me. Will try it again though.

This place is near perfection. I've been coming here for over a handful of years, now. The views can't be beat, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, lots of fresh food. My fav sandwich, the Maine Ave, was straight steak and sautéed mushrooms in a grinder roll with horseradish sauce. It came with a summer salad of chickpeas, couscous, cilantro, tomato, lemon juice, and some other magic. To my great disappointment, this item isn't on the menu anymore. It's available somewhat as a quesadilla, but it's hardly the same. (And the $5 charge to tack on some summer salad is bogus.) The Madaket Mystery remains a swell cocktail despite the steep price. Service is typically a bit strained - the place is frequently hoppin' - but usually friendly. Perhaps because I am a glutton for punishment, or because I can hold out hope for impossible things, I will keep going back with dreams of my beloved Maine Ave.

Authentic barbecue with a Nantucket twist! That's the plan for our new restaurant set to open by early spring in the former Cap'n Tobey's building on Straight Wharf. Former Brant Point Grill Executive Chef Fred Bisaillon and his girlfriend Denise Corson,
We walked in without a reservation and on a whim and we were really glad we did. Iâm not even a huge BBQ fan and we loved our meal. The ribs were soooooo good. Portions are large. Definitely come hungry. Staff was friendly. Itâs a bar so itâs loud and casual but come for some good eats.

Nantucket natives Sabrina Dawson and Gaven Norton wanted to create a unique neighborhood restaurant providing a place where locals can dine year-round and enjoy a casual, friendly atmosphere. Most island restaurants are only open during peak tourist month
This is the Fog Island Cafe, formerly of downtown Nantucket, transported to mid-island. Their breakfast menu has always been outstanding and my favorite. I can't speak for other dining options here, which I haven't tried, but this restaurant has become the go-to place for my family for breakfast. A little out of the way, important during high season, the building is divided up into a series of smaller rooms, which is very pleasant and un-commercial feeling. Our last experience at breakfast was lovely; all the dishes were well prepared, portions are quite generous and service was attentive and personal. There is outside covered patio seating as well. I'm sure their other meals are a pleasant dining experience as well.
