Reviews on Bar food in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

We had a lovely experience on a Saturday evening. The decor and ambience is something you must see to believe. Itâs extraordinary. The band with lead singer Rafi is just too wonderful and melodious and take the experience to another level. Food is just too fantastic and cannot be described in words. Full Marks to Mr. Nitin who is such a lovely person and 2 of his staff Mr. Ashish and the little enthusiastic boy running around Imran are extremely friendly and efficient and happy to help. Bravo It was very gracious of Mr. Nitin to make time to come and enquire if we were happy with the arrangements. My friend from Canada loved the mutton Rogan Josh and the variety of drinks on offer. Most of the people in the restaurant are very nice, kind and friendly people. However one negative was the rude and unfriendly manager Brijesh and the young lady at the entrance. They were unpleasant to everyone there. Their Attitude was more like they are doing a favour to customers. They need better training. Overall - Excellent. Highly recommended.

Its located in Andheri west area.Location wise itâs a nice place. Also itâs good for those who wanna work on their laptops or checking mails etc.Went with friends and really not disappointed at all. We Started with Bombay bhelpoori, which comes in a jar. Nice presentation. Chicken burger with fries was ok. Spaghetti pasta was very well cooked but portion was small. Chicken & veg sizzler were good with very well balanced veggies.Strawberry iced tea was just ok.If you guys wanna go for dessert, must try their sticky toffee pudding. Its just amazinggggg...

Though I was not too impressed with Versova Social, I found Goregaon Social a much better place to hang out. The street food made with eggs was quite a revelation. Salli per edu and Social bhurjee, available in the breakfast menu, served as great starters. Old school chicken tikka was just awesome. Have not tasted better chicken tikka ever. Spinach corn soup, served with toast was good too.The theme is that of a jail, so the decor matches accordingly. Food is served in aluminium plates and tiffin boxes. Good joint, great vibe. Seating could have been more comfortable - the height of some of the chairs is more than that of the table, which I found a bit annoying.

Mostly Grills is an open-air fine dining restaurant on the roof top of The Orchid Hotel Mumbai. It has an idyllic setting with the pool on one side and a bird's eye view of the airport on the other. Mostly Grills is set in a Mexican village right out of t
With the rapidly growing environmental issues around the globe we as major metro city need to shift focus on sustainable use of resources around us. Glad to see how the F&B industry is migrating towards the concept of Ecotel. Orchid Hotel (Ecotel) in Vile Parle (Mumbai) is a real life example of running Ecotel concept keeping in mind environmental improvements rather degradation. For entrepreneurs, tourist, business meetings and conferences Orchid hotel serves for an ideal place to reside at it offers amongst all the hotel amenities. When it comes to stay customers would surely look for good around them and orchid hotel encompasses a wide variety of restaurants serving both Indian and International cuisines along with one round the clock running coffee shop for caffeine lovers. During my recent visit to Orchid Hotel I chose to go for Mostly Grills restaurant situated on the seventh floor providing an exquisite rooftop view of the city. Mostly grills offers both Indian & Continental cuisine on the tableâ¦.Letâs dig into the dishes we exploredâ¦Food:1> Trio Pepper & Cheddar Cigar Roll â Loved the presentation of the dish with Cigar Rolls placed inside shot glass filled with Sweet Chilly Sauce. Rolls were crispy from outside a bit cheesy from inside but as mentioned in the menu stuffed bell pepper was missing in it. Well there is always room of improvementâ¦2> Char Grilled Balsamic Garlic Prawns â WOW!! Huge Kings prawns is always a seafood loverâs spoilt choice. Balsamic here refers to vinegar drizzled from top for the preparation. Mildly charred prawns tossed in garlic and butter surely fed our souls. A bit greedy all of them I ate myself â¦.Highly recommended!!!3> Panko Cheese Burst Chicken â Panko refers to the flaky and crunchy bread coating stuffed with chicken, cheese and topped with melted cheese also French fries and lemon butter sauce served on the sides. 4> Mexican Sizzle Chicken â Well this is one of the sizzlers which didnât had any rice on the hot bed. Instead there was chunks of chicken tossed in tomato salsa and fries to accompany. The moment it was kept in front of us all we could hear was sizzling sound and whispering our minds eat me before Iâm coldâ¦..5> Norwegian Salmon Steak â In the mains we thought to give a twist to our palate this time. High on protein and vitamins. Perfectly grilled salmon served with steamed potatoes and veggies. Taste wise chef did wonders keeping the way it has to be not so spicy not so bland. Couldnât think of any other way to end our feast.6> Tiramisu â Kudos to the presentation!!! No dinner is complete without a sinful dessert isnât it?? Classic Italian dessert made up of mascarpone custard cream layered with Kahlua liquor and dusted with cocoa.Drinks:1> Mumbai Masala â Mix of Kokam Syrup, Lime Juice and topped with Soda. Refreshing and soothing2> Grapple â Mix of grapes and apple juice muddled with flavour of mint3> Orchid Special â Mix of basil muddled with pineapple juice.Ambience â Would recommend to visit Mostly grills when the sky is clear to enjoy the mesmerising view along with airplanes taking on/off at the runaway on one side and some picturesque selfies near the pool. Seating is quite comfortable for large groups and couples. At one corner you can find the bar and opposite to it walking a few steps takes you to the chefâs kitchen. Evening gets nostalgic with live music performances. Also there is big screen projecting live sports.Service â Service by them is quick and impeccable. Our attendant Mr. Amit was humble and full of energy. Food â 5/5Drinks â 4/5Service â 5/5Ambience â 5/5Thank you Orchid Hotel â Mostly Grills for a scrumptious and memorable evening. A Vintage vibe that makes you reminisce, and mouth-watering food that you just can't miss! Explore the lovely combination of food & drinks @ Cafe Free India, Lower Parel
Introduction Imagine walking down memory lane, and sipping on a cuppa of chai, in a typical café back in the 1940âs. The unpretentious furniture comprises of cane chairs, and marble topped tables. The vibe is inviting, and the café comes alive with light-hearted banter. Inspirational branches Café Free India, seeks inspiration from the Indian Freedom Movement. The eatery is comfortable nestled in the vicinity of Lower Parel. They also have a branch in Bandra, and hope to inaugurate just another in Andheri, post the 2019 monsoon. The Vintage bits The Lower Parel property is leased on a premise that is over 50 years old. The property once catered to a famous Dairy. The café is managed and created by Rich Roche Hospitality, which is owned by Sachin Roche and his wife, Dr. Richa Agarwal. The décor comes alive with industrial furniture, which explores a different narrative of the bygone era. Sachin and Richa, strive hard at rendering the old-world charm to the café, which in a way imparts itâs own authentic flavour. Elements like marble tabletops, cane chairs, and switchboards from the 1940âs add to the charismatic appeal. Café Free India employs a warm and understanding staff. Theyâre quick on a heel, and serve patrons with due promptness. The crowd Invigorating aromas from the kitchen unfailingly lure patrons to try their simple, yet refreshing creations. It is interesting to learn how some of them keep coming back from time to time. The café is strategically located in the corporate area, luring office-goers. Family and friends frequent the place, on weekends. Take on TASTY The food reviews have been fantastic. I have shamelessly found myself binging on a number of things. Some of most famous delicacies include lip-smacking burgers, such as the âSouthern Fried Cottage Cheese Burgerâ, âThe Bombay Bâurger (that comes with a freshly prepared beetroot patty), the yummy âLouisiana Crab Burgerâ, the âCrispy Chilli Prawn Burgerâ, juicy âLucy Lamb Burgerâ and many more. The Café Free India team doesnât believe in stocking on frozen burger patties. Their burgers are made to order. Patron rave over their burgers stating, that the patty has a crispy outer and the meats and vegetables are all juicy and fresh. Some of the other specialities include the âFrench Onion Soupâ, âThukpaâ, âAsian Pot Curryâ, âSpaghetti and Meatballsâ, and a delicious array of thin crust pizzas. The bar concocts an interesting number of signature cocktails and some of the regular favourites as well. The city-inspired cocktails include, âBombay Greenâ, âQueens Necklaceâ, âBombay 13â, âVeerappanâ, âKaali Peeliâ and more. The prices are reasonable, encouraging people o keep coming back. End Note All in all, going to Café Free India is like taking a walk down memory lane. A must visit.
