Lively little tapas bar that is full of character and atmosphere. Most tapas are fish and seafood - top qualoty and very fresh. The shrimp fried tortillas ( camarones) were wonderful. The aubergine drizzled with honey was full of flavour. The clams were so fresh and cooked to perfection. Some excellent wines too.

Brilliant place for tapas which are included as one per drink that you buy. However if you are more hungry they can be purchased individually too. Grewt atmosphere. Friendly tho very busy service. Great place for tapas and wine/ beer. Quality if pork was particularly notable. Grilled meats a speciality. Friendly and helpful staff with good English providing prompt service. Limited menu, good quality dishes presented nicely. Very good all-round value but a bit too much salt added to the meat for my taste and no vegetables in sight! There is a quieter area to sit outside at the rear of the bar if preferred.

Discovered this cafe after being recommended by the hotel next door to try breakfast. What a delight very Spanish! Freshly made coffee & Bocadillo:)Its decor depics 'Old Spain' & the history of the region. The guy who does the morning shift is friendly, speaks a little English. Went every morning when they was open during our 7 day stay. Good prices :)

We loved this place. Came here twice in as many days in Granada. We had the roast pork (jamon asado), pork ribs (castillas), fried baby squid, fried prawns, anchovies (boquerones). We can recommend them all. Basically, order a drink or two and let the food come out (love Granada tradition of a free tapa with a drink). If you order more drinks, you have to let them know you want a tapa too). Order off the menu but beware, donât over order... the half raciones are a decent size! Fantastic, friendly service, fantastic food and cheap!! Well done! Thank you very much for your assessment, it is a pleasure for us to visit us, a greeting.

Great place for some tapas, a short but selected list of food (goat cheese top!), wines and a beer. Super friendly service. Pretty busy but worth either empty or full :-). Difficult to find without Google Maps. A hidden gem.

We sat under the wisteria tree with gorgeous purple blossoms accenting the striking view from the tiny romantic terrace. Itâs just a small casual pub along the river- but we loved being there; a couple of local beers with a couple delicious homemade tapas ( local goat cheese, the other a potato casarole of some sort with mushrooms) made the visit simply wonderful. If you are in the area I encourage you to stop by - itâs highly recommended.

We visited The Kafka Tavern on our last evening in Granada and were so glad we'd walked the extra ten minutes to find it as it featured the best wine list we encountered in a 10-day visit to Spain as well as outstanding (complimentary) tapas. It was a cold night and we were appreciative of the delicious and warming wild mushroom soup which arrived with our first glass of wine. We were keen to try wine from lesser-known regions of Spain and the bar featured a really helpful wine map and blackboard listing wine types, regions and flavours. During our evening, we tried a gorgeous range of wines from Cadiz, Toro, Almansa and Rioja accompanied by cous cous and roasted veg and ox cheeks in red wine. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and there was a nice mix of locals and tourists who visited through the evening. We thoroughly recommend a visit!Dear Michelle and Darren,It is a pleasure to read your review. I found this bar on tripadvisor and couldnât believe my luck. I had been very disappointed with a bar we went to the previous night who claimed to offer craft beer but only had 2/3 options and only one on tap. Here there is a selection of at least 20 on tap and many more in vans or bottles you really are spoilt for choice.What I liked most about this bar is that it is so refined more wine bar than normal bar. It has a lot of space between tables and the bar with bar stools and music playing. The service was friendly and efficient. We were offered a tapa but declined this. We enjoyed our beer choices and will definitely return and stay for food too.

el arroz del señorito, o abanda se pasaron en la cocion y estaba pasado. ademas este arroz debe ir con suficiente marisco limpio y estaba muy corto . nos ofrecieron tarta de limon y estaba tan fuerte que no pudimos comerla -es posible que una semana antes comi en la playa de los cocederos almeria y eso si era arroz a banda .el que quiera que me pregunte sobre los cocederos, pues soy un enamorado del buen arroz. Estimado Jesús,Recogemos su opinión para mejorar nuestro arroz, ya que siendo melosos la mayorÃa de los que hacemos, es verdad que es muy difÃcil tener la efectividad del punto del mismo el 100% de las ocasiones, pero le aseguramos que pondremos más atención.Sobre la tarta de limón, según nuestros clientes que la consideran de las mejores que han probado, no sé si esperaba una tarta con crema o merengue, o nata de limón, pero especificamos muy bien cómo está hecha y ¡¡amamos el limón para refrescar la boca después de una comida contundente!!Esperamos que vuelva un dÃa para comprobar que nos tomamos las opiniones de todo el mundo muy en serio para avanzar.Saludos de todo el equipo.
