Start your meal off with a signature martini, tap beer, or choose from a variety of wines. Jakers Bar and Grill serves the best burgers and sandwiches, delicious steaks and prime rib from Double R Ranch, the freshest seafood you can get inland, savory hom
Jakers was recommended by the desk clerk in brooks motor inn.We arrived without reservations so weâre seated at the bar. We were served drinks straight away and then seated in the restaurant within half an hour. Our server heather was attentive efficient and gave great info on the choices. I would recommend the avocado/crab salad starter. Really tasty and a meal in its self.My main was the cedar plank salmon, and omg, I have NEVER eaten salmon that good, never. In all our travels around the world, this was the best meal I have ever eaten. Served with rice (my choice) it was the star of the show.Final dish was a crime brûlée, which was huge, rich and creamy, yummy. We live in the UK so unlikely to return to Missoula for some time, but we are going to great falls on this trip so will try jakers there too. Joanne,Thank you so much for your recent visit to Jakers and I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself! We certainly pride ourselves on quality food and exceptional restaurant service and I'm glad to hear that we achieved that with you! I know it may be a while, but we look forward to having you for dinner again soon!Best,Josh ChavezGeneral ManagerJakers Bar and Grill-Missoula

Went with a reservation, greeted and seated promptly. We dined at the restaurant regularly in the 80âs and a few times since when visiting Missoula. Its still a favourite. Cozy interior, comfortable seating. Good varied menu of meat and seafood and the amazingly great salad bar is still available ($7.95). Like dining out anywhere, prices are now much higher. This time we ordered the 8oz filet and the Depot kabob. Both came with one side. Chose a baked and a garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mash was the winner. The food was excellent, the service attentive, the wine prices reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit.

LOVE this place!!! A great brewery, great beer, great food, and great atmosphere. The beers are wonderful, cold and a good variety. The food is soooo very delicious and the atmosphere is worth it's weight in gold. What a fun and clean place. The service is absolutely wonderful. They are friendly, quick and professional. We are from California vacationing in Missoula, Montana and The Highlander Beer Missoula Brewing Company is the best place to be!!! We wished they had breweries like the Highlander Beer Missoula Brewing Company in our town!! Rated this place an A++++ for everything.

Went twice over our three week stay. Reasonably price. Nice aesthetics and friendly staff. Service was prompt. Had the sirloin steak, steamed vegetables and a house salad.

This used to be a dive with a food truck out back. Everything is much, much better. Excellent food and service. Shrimp & grits and spaghetti squash were both very good. Portions could be larger. Stage is improved, but sound system could be better. Food and drink service is cut off about an hour before the show, so plan to eat before the show and you can stay at your table and get your own drinks so long as you are not seated on the dance floor.

Our usual lunchspot in Missoula.Generally nothing to complain...Nice big salad, good beers, and chicken wings..But this year impossible to finish them...It was more tahn very very very hot...Even in New Mexico they have not such hot wings..So only 3 this year..Try to taste your spicy wings before to give it to the table...

A nice little locally owned Irish Restaurant, Casino and Liquor Store in Missoula, Montana. Irish Fare with Montana Flare!
Yes, to repeat. Great atmosphere and service. Lots of menu choices. I just had dessert. Sticky Toffee Pudding. Didn't match my taste. Unfortunate since I'm really watching sugar intake, I used up a dessert slot. Oh, well. On vacation. Can sneak in another one. Again, don't want to discourage you from coming here. Menu looked great. Thanks for taking time to leave us feedback. We're sorry you didn't care for the Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert. Thank you for your kind words about our atmosphere, service, and menu selection! We aim to provide the best of all three. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Missoula!

I wanted a good steak so asked at hotel the nearest place to get one. They sent me here, maybe a mile down road. Was seated pretty fast and server was friendly and helpful. Ordered a bacon wrapped filet with baked potato...the steak was excellent...salad was Sammo , sammo but no bread/roll of any kind which I found odd. I looked at dessert list and saw they served fresh huckleberry (3berry) cobbler. I got it to go for later in room. When I opened the cobbler was so upset as was pricey, there was no cobbler to it just runny berries with hair in it. I was sick as had started to eat and not one hair...many hairs...so be cautious if they are busy you may get a dessert thrown together and not even cooked

We stopped here around 10:00 pm to get a glass of wine and a quick bite to eat after business kept us occupied way late into the evening. From the other reviews, we were under the impression that this was primarily a wine cellar that also offered cocktails as well as some food. Unfortunately, it turned out that Plonk was actually a cocktail lounge with a limited selection of wines and food. With three separate seating areas (indoors, on the sidewalk patio, and on the rooftop patio), one would have hoped to find at least one quieter corner to enjoy their meal and wine. Unfortunately, loud hip-hop music was blasting in all three areas, making it very difficult to communicate with both the servers and the members of one's own party. Instead of a relaxing wine cellar atmosphere we encountered a loud, stressful one.The wines offered were good but not exceptional, and while the food tasted very good and offered some unusual flavor combinations, lack of gluten-free options was very much apparent. Overzealous server was a bit of a downer too as, when she asked if we would like another glass of wine and one person in our party didn't take her up on the offer, she took away that person's glass that was not quite empty yet without even asking if she could take it. Not cool. All in all, for the price of the experience, Plonk left us quite underwhelmed.Hi JALouie, wanted to clarify that ours is an evolving environment, with ranging styles of service and ambiance throughout the night. As you stated your visit was later in the evening, during which we had shifted to Happy Hour. The Happy Hour Menu for late night guests offers a select variety of drinks and smaller plates. Full wine and cocktail lists are always available. Our late night environment is also more energetic in music and tone. We'd love for you to try visiting earlier, for our Evening Menu and a more relaxed setting, which may appeal to you more. Warmest wishes and many thanks!

Alehouse and grill.
Larissa took care of our needs well. The fresh rootbeer and Hat Trick pint were cold and tasty. The Alehouse fish and chips ($12) were ample but nothing to write home about. The smoked bacon mac & cheese ($14) was well prepared. Tamarack cheeseburger was large at $12. Low noise where we were seated.
