We went for a late dinner, but with the lay out of the place, it could also be a bar hangout. They offered outdoor and indoor seating. To avoid noise from surrounding traffic, we sat indoors. Although we sat near bar and under televisions mounted a wall, it was not too noisy for a conversation. Service was excellent. Food served hot and tasted freshly prepared. The spicy shrimp tacos (3) were delicious! And you can't pass on $5 Margaritas.

A world of food awaits at Grand Lux Cafe featuring internationally inspired cuisine.Located on the second level of the mall, in between Sears and Nordstrom.
We are always happy to see the Grand Lux while we are travelling. As always, the food was excellent. Sadly, compared to everywhere else we ate in Miami the service was lacking. Everywhere else we ate our water glasses were never empty, our coffee mugs were always full and so forth. Sadly compared to other restaurants in the Miami area, the service at the Grand Lux is a step down.Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it. We're sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with our service during this visit. Next time, if there is anything that can be done to improve your experience please let our managers know so we can do our best to make things right. Thanks again and we're glad you enjoyed the rest of your visit!

The baby back ribs are a mainstay of this restaurant chain, it's signature entrée you could say. I ordered the ribs, my included side being white rice and black beans with onion pieces. This meal came with complementary cole slaw, which I assume comes with all meals. It's optional, but don't pass it up; it's quite good. The ribs were simply delicious. The meat easily came off the bones, readily yielding to the fork and knife such that I never had to manually handle the ribs. Excellent service. Reasonable price.

Some friends and I decided to meet here for some drinks and appetizers. The outside patio was nice and the band that was playing was actually very good. From here on out it was downhill, the service was absolutely terrible. I donât know if they were understaffed, but it basically took them about 20 minutes just to get our drinks. We ordered some bourbons with large rock and we were told they had run out(it was 8:00pm early) for this to happen. We ordered some appetizers flatbread and a couple of sushi rolls. The flatbread was soggy and not very good, I will say the Sushi Rolls(California and Crab) were pretty good even though it took about 45 minutes to get. Overall, service was dismal and other than Sushi Rolls everything was average at best. I got guess if I return would sit at the bar probably get drinks quicker and listen to band. Overall, not impressed. Enjoy

We offer a wide range of small plates, salads, sandwiches and entrees. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our food is made fresh and of high quality ingredients. We also offer a full bar with an extensive range of fine liquors and great wines.
Awesome fresh dishes and creative cocktails. Best service on the beach. Our Server Ray was phenomenal! I was not staying at the hotel but was 1/2 mile north at Diplomat. Had eaten at the restaurants there for 2 nights that were under names of "Top Known chefs" and was very disappointed in the quality for the price so with very limited options in walking distance decided to walk to this place in the Doubletree Hotel. Do not let the small or non existent crowd frighten you. Unique cocktails were tasty, wait staff was very familiar with the menu and helpful with recommendations(unlike the waiter at GZ restaurant at Diplomat) Skirt steak with chimchuri tender as can be, ribeye steak sandwich the same. Orchard salad with add on salmon came with entire portion of salmon as did the pasta dish that we requested catch of the day(mahi) that is usually not an add on but they accommodated anyway. Wish we had room for desert but could not do it. If you stay at Diplomat or anywhere in the vicinity you need to check this place out. Well worth the .4 mile walk and so much better than GZ's place.Thank you so much for your outstanding review of Port South Bar & Grill. Thank you for also realizing that we use fresh ingredients and top quality meats. Thank you too for recognizing Ray and his "phenomenal" service. We really appreciate all of your kind words and hope to see you again soon when you visit.

The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishe
They don't take reservations but we must have got there at a good time because it was not a long wait. There was four of us in total. We waited at the bar for maybe 10 minutes before we were seated outside at the patio. Outside was ok, not a grand view but it is nice to be outside by the water. Our sever was bizarre but nice.We started off with the baked clams. Disappointed that it was overstuffed with breading and I believe it said the breading had bacon which I did not see. We ordered 2 of them and got 12 in total. We all drank pina coladas which were tasty and had just the right enough alcohol. Only my aunt complained about her drink saying she wish it were creamier but again they were fine. Drinks are reasonable priced- think was $12 My aunt and I both had the skippers platter. We both chose the stuffed shrimp; stuffing was crabmeat and I think breadcrumbs. The shrimp was delicious and huge. The steak a good portion but definitely needed seasoning. The dish came with buttered parsley potatoes and they were lacking much flavor. I did not enjoy the potatoes not steamed veggies and I do love to eat veggies but the food in general could use some seasoning. It's like the kitchen did not have a season rack back there. Also, there aren't too many good sides to choose from in general. My mom has the stuffed lobster tail. She was content but shared she did not her much lobster. My sister originally ordered the artic crab legs which were on a special they had just made that day. I heard on the mic that they had 86'ed the crabs and mentioned it to the sever. He reported he thinks his order is fine because his number was not called over the mic. He reported he would go check. Well he never went to check right away And came back apologizing saying he just now checked and I was right they do not have any more of those crab legs left. My sister chose a different set of crab legs and she really enjoyed them. I might return since my sister is a big crab lover but the food could definitely be tastier

I donât know what has happened to this place, but it has really gone downhill. The food is still pretty good, but the last few times we have been there, the service has steadily declined. The last two times we have been there, the service has been downright terrible. Weâve taken Village Tavern out of our âregular rotationâ. There are to many other nice choices in the area to put up with horrible service.

Another locals sports bar with great food, drinks, an outdoor patio for couples and families (during the day). In the evening the crowd changes, no kids around and it gets wilder.
