Just took husband andother to lunch..waited neary 1 hour 40 mins for food even though I asked 3 times where our food was and how much longer it would take no one would or could tell me. When it turned up the lasagne was dry, hard and inedible and the sausage and mash did not have the accompanying veg as described on the menu. Horrible, ruined our day

Cliff top Shepherd Neame Tenanted Pub with large patio overlooking Pegwell Bay. Reservations are strongly recommended as this establishment gets extremely busy, especially during the Summer months
On a beautiful sunny day sat outside on the deck and had a lovely lunch. Service was a bit slow for a Monday but was worth the wait.

We were staying in the camp site round the corner and so visited the pub for lunch and dinner on different days. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was excellent and could not fault. Portion sizes were very good and an excellent choice on the menu. Thank you to all!

Booked a table of 11 for Sunday lunch. We all a mixture of food from the menu. I, myself, had the steak and kidney pudding with chips and Stilton sauce. All food was served with a good selection of veg. The service was top notch too, attentive but not intrusive. Thanks to all the staff foh and boh for making our experience first class

Excellent family evening playing international bat and trap competition in the Saddlers garden ( 2 teams of 20). Beer and G&T in quantity helped the losers overcome their defeat and the winners celebrate. Great thanks for the welcoming staff.

I've eaten at Christie's many times, most recently last night and cannot fault a thing - the portion sizes are extremely generous (especially the breakfast), the produce is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. They also do a Burger Night and an Italian Night once a month which again are fantastic. I have also held a private function here with a buffet which again was generous and very reasonably priced - the atmosphere is friendly as are the staff. Quiz night is also good fun!Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your visits to Christies and hope that you continue to do so in the future. I will pass on your lovely comments to our Chefs and front of house staff. We hope to see you again soon!

Usual great welcome from the hostess with a dry sense of humour. We were on a mission to see if the steak & ale pie was still as good as last time (2 years ago) and we weren't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, great food & drink and very nice staff. 5 stars from us!

The long-established pub The Powell is the oldest hostelry in Birchington. Named after Squire Powell of Quex, the High Sheriff of Kent in 1823. Enjoy elegance, soft hues and classic touches which accentuate the original features of the building. We welcom
Popped in for a late lunch recently following a review in the local press. It was busy but the staff were cheery and helpful and the food was every bit as good as the article had suggested. Well done, keep it up we will be back.

Built in 1576, The Bell Inn has been central to the the village of Minster-in-Thanet. As the centuries have passed, the one thing that has never changed at the Bell, is the importance of community, which is why in 2019, Keith and Debbie Barnett, have deci

Village Pub & Kitchen
Tried this pub after a couple of years absence. Sadly it has changed hands and the menu is pretty basic and picking what to eat was difficult. No specials board. Desserts were limited choice too. Pub very noisy and the sound does travel through to the restaurant. Also sat at a table which was not fit for purpose. Very small in height compared to the others. Nice enough staff but we wont be going back.
