Wow - really enjoyed our first visit to Lakeside Grill. Beautiful boat trip between Lake Minocqua and Lake Tomahawk on the thoroughfare. Sydney took great care of us on this beautiful Northwoods day. Easy boat parking and a friendly hand at the dock. We shared the walleye fingers and pork wontons - plenty of food for two. She sipped a Tropical Chugger - malibu rum, peach/ orange mixtures with a splash of cranberry - delicious, even better sitting "lakeside". I had a cold Leinie's Summer Shandy. Hard to believe we had never visited this Northwoods gem but believe me, we'll be back - we loved our visit.

First visit to Preuss's PUb - on a recommendation from D at Leisure City. We enjoyed the our first visit to this iconic, kitschy Northwoods original bar. It's small and intimate - the bar seats 10-12 at the most and the front dining area seats about the same. Looks like there is a nice outdoor serving area that overlooks Little Musky Lake - we plan to visit next season. Check out the decorative, wood inlay bar - very cool. Our bartender served up a couple of Wisconsin classics - Brandy Old Fashioneds to start our evening. Tasty, but not the best...We ordered from the bar as our waitress arrived and got herself settled, she was friendly and accommodating - she made our visit comfortable. "She" tried the pan fried walleye, and I tried the "Friday Fish Fry" - both served with house made baked beans and creamy cole slaw, lemon wedges and rye bread - the food was tasty indeed, some might think a little pricey for the atmosphere but we really enjoyed the intimacy of this classic Northwood's Pub/Bar/ Restaurant. Since it's so convenient to Hwy 51, Hwy 70E (right across from the Plantation and Kwik Trip) , Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, Woodruff - I think this place often gets overlooked as you speed by towards Manitowish Waters and Boulder Junction - I know that's what happened to us. We'll definitely be back to give the outdoor area visit - instead of zooming by on Hwy 51, stop in and visit Preuss's for a visit - I think you'll enjoy the hospitality

Stopped here for burgers and a couple beers late on a weeknight. Service was friendly, place was clean, and food was very good.

First visit to this Pub and happen to be on a Monday late afternoon. The kitchen closes at 5:00 on Monday and we got here at 4:40 so hurry up and order. It was pretty quiet and The waitress was very nice but as we watched her she was doing way more than she should, she was bartending, waitressing, food runner, etc. The drinks were ok but lack of service was lacking. You canât run a Pub with a bartender/waiter/ server and also a cook in the kitchen. Got to say the girl did a great job for all she had to do. The food was good. Hate to see if this place was busy.....one thumb up, one thumb down.

I stopped with my wife last Monday as we were traveling south to home. I always liked this place for a burger and a brat. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. But that's where it stopped. The place was full at lunch time, we expected that. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and wondered what was taking so long for a burger and a brat. I looked around and nobody had food. The bartender came over and politely said it wold be another 30-60 minutes. Wait what??? We paid out tab and left.

A perfect view awaits you! Every seat offers a beautiful overlook on Lake Minocqua. Located just over the 51 bridge downtown Minocqua, The Boathouse offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere, with live piano music and historic bar upstairs and relaxed doc
Well, during the Summer season, particularly on the days of the waterski show next door, you will have a long wait if you arrive after 5:30. Many of the crowd is older anyway and likes to dine earlier. However, if you don't mind a 45min wait (or choose to dine after 7:30) you will be rewarded with an outstanding meal. There were six of us and all raved about our dinners. Two had the perch fish fries and one ordered walleye and we all thought it was the best we have ever eaten in Northern Wisconsin. The perch was crunchy on the outside and tender inside--not at all tasting "breaded"The dinners came with soup and salad and the Hungarian mushroom soup was a big hit. Our 13 year old godson ordered the Ahi Tuna, (a very sizable portion) ate every morsel and said he could eat another. The appetizers are all very generous portions, too---good for sharing

This place had a waiting list at 2:30 in the afternoon. They texted us when our table was ready, so we could walk around and enjoy the scenery. They offer lakeside dining, and many tables over looking the lake. Very good menu choices and the food and service was excellent.
