I lived in Big Apple for my Open Water license (see separate review), and had many meals in this restaurant. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very good. And the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is very popular place and there are many people there in the evening. A good place both for meal and something to drink.
Ate here when organising trip to Apo reef with Pentagon Divers next door. Food was very tasty and generous serves. Nice atmosphere. Worth checking out Pentagon diving if you want a trip to Apo reef. Albert was a lovely guy and very accommodating to our family of 6 different level divers. Very experienced and safety conscious. Had a great day with him and would recommend him if you want a personalised experience.

Excellent value for money. Great location, brilliant food and cheap beer. Pie chips and gravy is best on the beach, chocolate cake is to die for.

We first went to big apple to grab lunch as there is a nice sea view from the outside seats. We felt that as a couple we were definitely getting less attention than the male customers but when the men bough the waitresses a round of jelly shots it became clear why. The bar at night is defiantly a bit seedy with older western men hanging out with the local girls (if you travel Asia you know the type) but we didn't feel unwelcome. In the evening big pool games of killer broke out which were great to watch as some of the players have serious skills. One of the better players asked us to play one night and we explained that we were terrible so from then on she would smile when she saw us and come and say hello. We ate there a couple of times and I actually really enjoyed every meal we had though we did stick to local dishes. Beers were 65 so after a day of diving it was a great place to sit and watch everyone. Your guaranteed a few laughs at some drunk western guys expense but it's all fun and games. The waitresses certainly got friendlier as we returned.

This is Marco Vincent Resort's satellite restaurant, located just a few blocks from the resort property. One thing that MVR has down to a 'tee' is their high level of service and friendliness from every member of their staff. Add good food, including both local and international fare, cheap drinks, and a comfortable setting, and you've just described this little jewel of a beachfront eatery.

Hi WE want to add a review for the View Point Bar and Restaurant at Puerto Galera - on the road to Sabang just past the Palangal turn off - tel: 0921 5306 289 - great view, clean, friendly and they make great grilled salmon and salad and also yummy englis
this small little restaurant is on the Sabang rd. between Puerto Galera and Sabang.a place to stop for a cold drink. if walking the route or lunch. as we did. can be a bit nosy as now the road is so good . there is more traffic on it. but this is more than made up by the great view over the bays of P/G. 20 years ago i stopped at this point to catch a jeepney and admire the point. and now they is this great little restaurant there. wish i had the money and idea back then. food is good. service quick. menu not bad for the size of the place.

The Puerto Galera Yacht Club Restaurant offers a variety of International, Filipino and Asian food. Every Wednesday we offer a buffet of different Currys and on Friday we have our very famous Barbeque Night.
The shuttle to the club works great, the club itself is a very nice setting and friendly atmosphere. Menu is varied and most dishes I tried was okay. Prices on par for a western restaurant in town. The kinilaw (heavy coconut cream and way too much black pepper) was a disappointment though, which is my fiancé's favorite dish that she was looking forward to. Also the "chips" were typically not served hot and not crisp. Overall okay food, but in a wonderful/relaxing setting.

the home of the Gin and Juice.. Capt Gregs is a great place to have a sundowner and some food. the staff are helpful and attentive, the drinks are cold and flowing and the food is also good with a grill on deck for a good steak or seafood cooked to order.
