They treat tourists like *h*t, because they know they don't come back anyway. We were first in the queue and two groups of Italian speakers came and were given table. We asked the only nice (young girl) worker why this happened, and forwarded the question. The reply was that those people had reservation. That was an obvious lie since the restaurant was full and that table just got free. After getting the table it took forever to be served. Finally we ordered the food, that felt promising. 10-15 minutes later the waitress came to tell that they ran out of the dishes we ordered. And it turned out pretty much all the dished they had for main dishes. So we had to order whatever random they had left.. This was half way of the lunch time...Food wasn't that good. Just normal. One of the first meals of the whole trip I would say.As a summary, AVOID.

This Lido enjoys a sectioned off portion of the lake for swimming with large and generous landscaped grounds to find a quiet spot to relax. It is very popular at the height of summer, but you will always find a spot to stretch out. The cafe and bar at one end serve simple uncomplicated food from delicious tomato and mozzarella salads to pizza, with delicious ice creams, cake and coffee in an enclosed space but with plenty of outdoor seating and shade. The bar has a wide selection of drinks and an ice cold beer is hard to beat on a sunny day.

Local restaurant with dining room warm and cozy from April to September wonderful terrace overlooking the lake in front of the Bellagio with stunning views
This charming little bistro bar was a welcome escape from the deplorable food and service in our nearby hotel. We enjoyed cocktails, beer, pizzas and steaks all served by friendly staff who even prepared our packed lunch for our journey home. We visited every day during our stay and were made very welcome.

Surprise to enjoy a great lunch of melon and prosciutto and probably the best thin crust pizza so far on our trip to Lake Como. Great place to watch the lake ferries come in and out and see the mountains with the sun setting behind us. Could even see the castle above Varenna that we hiked up to yesterday.

If you want a basic lunch on the street with some nice food then this is OK -and reasonable value for money. Slice of Pizza was fine washed down with a couple of beers. If you are looking for a little more up market and better surrounds and service then keep walking, there are other options, but enjoyed the meal here.

We agreed we found the worst restaurant in Italy. First of all - no english or german menu. The beer was warm, mineral water in plastic bottles and coca cola in cans. We ordered lasagne and salad. Lasagne were a childrenâs portion, overcooked, with no taste and they felt like the were frozen and bought in a supermarket. The salad was bitter and definitely old! And it took them so long to defroze those lasagnas. And we could pay with credit cardâalthough the waiter sent us on the side of the lake to find an ATM. The food was so âgreatâ some of us saw it again later. Not a pleasant experience.

We ate in this restaurant a number of times throughout our stay in Lake Como, both lunch and dinner times. The food is lovely, very tasty. Staff are friendly, however there was an odd one that was not that nice at times and was extremely grumpy when we moved tables so we could watch the Grand Prix. Our regular waitress was always friendly and provided good service always. I am afraid we didn't get her name but she had dread locks in her hair, she is an asset to the restaurant.

Convenient overall. Nice views and good beer. Food is rather subpar for these parts. Pizza margarita with dried basil? I think not. Service was pretty fast and staff friendly. Good place to sit and relax and sip a negroni while watching activity on lake Como.Only takes cash, no credit cards

Have just spent a great week on Lake Como at Hotel Cadenabbia where the rooms were comfortable and the food was of a high standard. The roof terrace was delightful and the recently refurbished pool and facilities were excellent. The Riviera representative named Elizabeth with lots of other names, who comes from Chile did a sterling job throughout the week, nothing was too much for her and she supplied us with useful information on a daily basis. One of Elizabeth's recommendations was that we all visit Bar Victoria on the Tuesday night to listen to The Italian Stallion a local singer. What a great night that turned out to be in a very quirky establishment with the local owner and his friendly bar maids one from Hartlepool one from Doncaster and one from Como a night to remember with classic Italian style opera and assorted standards followed by a good old sing song encouraging audience participation. The drink flowed and a good time was had by all highly recommended if you're ever passing just call in for a very friendly welcome.
