Historical building with friendly helpful staff, great pub meals and desserts, full bar with cocktails available, food ranging between $9.99-$30 full dining area, outdoor enclosed deck with seating area hotel is pet friendly we try and cater to all needs
I had a narvellous meal of grilled snapper - table by the fire - very pleasant atmosphere. Only drawback was my choice of wine - the Cape Schank Pinot Grigio was not up to it 9 perhaps they should try and get the Houghtons Small Batch 2015 Pinot Grigio - it is superb). So apart from my poor choice of wine - a great meal. I will definitely be back. Pambula has it all - in spades!!

The Top Pub Bistro is located within the Top Pub,Commercial Hotel Pambula. It has become the premier eating place for locals, visitors, seniors and families within the Pambula area and with two courtesy buses available is happy to pick you up and drop you
Comfortable seating in a nice environment, which is due to be upgraded during this year. Which should mean an even better environment!Welcoming and friendly staff both at order, and the waiter. We hadn't been seated for long, before our cheese and garlic bread arrived. Fresh with crispy crusts, the 3 generous serves were more than enough for the two of us.Main courses were extremely generous, and it was quite pleasing to have a pub meal where the vegetables were cooked correctly. The chips with my parma were some of the best chips I've had; crisp and tasty. the grilled blue grenadier was moist and extremely tasty.Overall the meals were served promptly, and were a pleasure to eat.Next time we're in this area, we'll be sure to visit again, and experience their updated surroundings. Thanks John for your kind review. Yes we are creating a much larger commercial kitchen and an new 80 seat restaurant to meet the growing demand for freshly prepared "pub meals". Hopefully all will be ready to go by the October long weekend, 2019 so we would love to have you call in again and give us your opinion of our new facilities,Cheers, Grant & Carol Kennedy.

This was a terrible disappointment. Our three meals were overcooked and barely edible and, as club meals go in Merimbula/Tura Beach, this was one of the worst. The macadamia crusted pork sounded delicious but was far from it. Tough, dry and served with store bought over sweet chutney, I would be embarrassed to serve this to family let alone paying customers. The two chicken parmigianas were barely better being overcooked and dry with an unmemorable and sickly sweet topping. We asked our lovely waitress, who enquired as to whether we had enjoyed our meal, to pass on to the bald headed chef that his meals were very disappointing. We watched as she did this and his response was a shrug. Oh dear....what a sad indictment on the club and his non existent culinary skills. We are locals but will never eat here again until he is replaced with a trained chef who knows and understands food.

We went there as locals with high and hopeful expectations as new chef and menu was advertised, badly needed after recent dining room mediocrity. Sadly our evening was a disaster. We booked and arrived at 7 to a half full restaurant and surprisingly few wait staff but were not daunted even though on ordering, 3 of our 4 menu choices were "sorry unavailable".An hour and 45 minutes later our steaks and pie arrived and only after fronting the chef to inquire about our missing food. No apologies were given. All three steaks were atrocious. The rare was well done and likewise the two mediums. The guiness pie was tasteless and underwhelmingly lacking in the star ingredient. But we were starving and desperate so ate. Upon leaving we thought it necessary to tell the chef of our disappointment and his belligerent response was "why didn't you bring meals back" . I thought the answer would have been obvious as we didn't want to be eating at 10pm. No points to him for customer relations and even fewer for skills in the kitchen. An inexperienced short order chef can cook a rare steak My advice is to stay away from the Tura Beach Golf Club and its dining room. It doesn't deserve your patronage.

You are big enough to make your own dressings and sauces. Using stuff laced with chemicals is very obvious. Kraft salad dressing I think? Make your own. Not difficult and the home made dressings last! I had barramundi. It was dry. Service is quick. The selling of raffle tickets over the loud speaker is disconcerting. The view is fantastic.

Club Sapphire Merimbula has an inviting combination of sophisticated dining, three relaxing leisure lounge areas, exciting programmes of auditorium entertainment, spacious function rooms for wedding receptions and conferencing, a complete health and fitne
Visited on a Saturday night, very busy, very noisy, staff rushed and attempted to display a calmness but wasnât working. Big group of young males celebrating something but very loud and using inappropriate language for a âfamily friendly restoâ, meals deep fried something, very bland. Wouldnât bother going, itâs a cheep feed on par with the Golden Arches except less private, more expensive, slower service and the food isnât great. Go spend a couple of dollars more and go to one of the many specialty restos in town!!You're right in that we had a very, very busy night. Our Members Draw had reached $10,000 and we had a sellout and very successful fundraiser for the Cancer Council of NSW. It is disappointing to hear how just a few can make a night out less enjoyable in a family friendly setting. I can only hope that you brought your complaints to the attention of our staff on the night so that they could have been responded to and acted on quickly.Regardless, we are sorry and disappointed to hear of your unsatisfactory experience which is totally out of character with the regular feedback we receive. Our CEO would like to talk to you about your feedback to gain a better understanding of your experience so we can ensure it does not happen again. If you are happy to help us with this please contact our CEO on 64951306. Thank you for your feedback.

Dulcie's Cottage is a bar that is set in a 1925 weatherboard cottage on Merimbula Main Street. The kitchen offers a cool, concise menu of local oysters and American-style burgers, all of which are prepared in a restored 1950's caravan that sits in the bar
Had the dulcie burger and others had the chicken burger. Both were excellent, up there with the best burgers Iâve had. Just think $100 is a bit much for 3 burgers and 3 drinks. Its worth a visit though and Iâd definitely go back next time Iâm in town.
