Very nice outdoor bar and patio area, including an extensive dock to pull up in a boat. The food is always good (bar food) and the staff is friendly. It's a great place to spend a lazy day in the sun on the shore of a nice lake just south of Madison. Easily accessible by land, too. I've not had it, but have heard rave reviews about their fish fry, too.

Sat by the lake, enjoying our old fashions ( one brandy sweet and the other whiskey sour ) Ordered the perch, hash browns and waffle fries. Started with cream of chicken/rice and clam chowder.Delicious glad you had a good meal- and hopefully got to see a beautiful sunset. Thank you!!!!
We stopped at this exit for gas then noticed this place and decided to give it a try. Seemed to be popular with locals. Service and food were good. We'd stop here again. Also we asked about the drive-thru chapel and sounds like they do have several weddings each year. Otherwise it's like a sports bar.

We believe in serving locally sourced beef, craft beer, and fresh-cut fries. We use locally supplied beef that we hand-make into delicious burgers ranging from a simple hamburger to our most popular Kentucky Bourbon Classic. You can also change and custom
First time here. And it will not be the last. I had the Brews-chetta Burger. Probably the best burger ever.On a seasoned Parmesan garlic dusted bun with melted Havarti cheese, a generous portion of tomato bruschetta and finished with basil pesto mayo! My spouse had a cheese burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. We shared an order of sweet potato fries. They were excellent. Our server let us taste 4 of the local beers they had on tap. The total bill was about $22.00. Very friendly employees that went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Convenient location just off the Beltline. Adequate parking, it is like two different spaces: inside is a sports bar and outside is a patio over the water. We were there around sunset: no bugs, gentle breeze. Temperature in the 70âs. Great menu. I wanted to order the Greek bowl because it had lamb: next time. Tonight I had a bluegill sandwich and for a small up charge had a ceviche side. Both were excellent. My wife was very pleased with her tuna poke bowl with wasabi mayo on the side. At the table next to us two guys had the special: an enormous portion of meatloaf. We will be back.

When we arrived at 5 PM (dinner time) the parking lot was jam packed.Turned out the bar was hopping for the Kentucky Derby. No problems grabbing a table. Never did find a hostess. Waitress was friendly. Place does get crowded and loud. They also had tables reserved but not sure they take reservations ? Food does take a bit to be served but it was really good. Prices are very right. They do not offer any desserts.

Looking for a good bar burger, then look someplace else. Looking for a GREAT bar burger, then look no more. Hands down the best burgers in the Mad City area. Even when they're busy the service is great. This is my favorite place to meet friends for lunch.

We live locally in McFarland and go to the Green Lantern 3-4 times per month. The food is nothing to write home about, classic diner/bar food...although my husband swears by the Walleye and Eggs. I was a HUGE fan of the perch fish dinner, but they removed it from the menu a little bit ago. The waitresses are usually very nice and patient, while we usually see the bartenders are the opposite...crabby and not very patient. Would like to see the Greenie expand with some outdoor seating for the months it is nice in Wisconsin. Would be extremely marketable as McFarland has 0 restaurants with lake-side seating.

We stopped here for our first visit while in Madison and Wisconsin. We were treated to grand food and great service! Try the Walleye, or rotisserie chicken and definitely the appetizers! The staff was great and attentive while my drink was always topped off.Enjoy, we sure did.
