I ate dinner at the bar recently on my first trip to the hotel and Graze on Main. The bartender was very personable and attentive, and the meal that I ordered was prepared to perfection! I had a filet mignon, grilled squash, and cheesy grits. The steak was fantastic and the sides were also wonderful. The dinner rolls were fresh and delicious. I can't say enough nice things about this place! I am looking forward to going back soon.Thank you for such a rave review! Our locally sourced steak from Laurel Springs Farm is a popular choice. We look forward to serving you another delicious meal very soon!

Service was attentive though getting the food to us after ordering took some time. Order was partially wrong but at least we weren't billed for it after showing the waitress the problem. Overall it just feels old and outdated. The restrooms didn't have working hot water. The urinal didn't flush. There's an un-ironic sign of the cast of Friends drinking milkshakes as you enter the restroom. The walls are plastered in generic labeled sports images ("basketball!" With a bunch of nameless players without logos about to shoot some hoops). The burgers didn't exactly look as pictured.

We stopped in Wytheville on our way further south. The hotel manager recommended the brew pub for dinner. We arrived about 7 on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. The staff came over quickly and filled our drink order immediately. The strawberry blonde ale was good, as was the cream ale and brown ale. I ordered a flight to sample 4 off their selection of 12 beers. The mama bear lager was ok with my favorite being the brown ale and the cream ale in second place. We ordered fried pickles as an app which were ok, but lacked more of the pickle âzingâ I like. As a meal, we shared medium wings which were cooked perfectly and had some good bite to the sauce. We also shared the shrimp tacos which were REALLY good and our son had the cheese burger cooked âmediumâ (the rarest they allow) which he enjoyed and said was good. I recommend the sweet potato fries which I thought were great. We opted out of dessert but will try the funnel cake fries next time we pass through. In all, a good dinning experience worth trying for yourself.

My friend and I were visiting this local community and looking for a place for dinner. Reviews looked good but I wasn't going with high expectations. Very pleasantly surprised! Al's is located in a charming restored building in the downtown of Pulaski by the river. ( There is a hotel in the same building, we didn't stay there. )I had the Strawberry spinach salad which was HUGE and delicious! On the servers suggestion I added a grilled piece of salmon which was cooked nicely. My friend requires gluten free food and they had a GF menu! She had the grilled chicken breast meal with a large baked potato. She enjoyed their Wedge salad and they had a GF roll that she could eat. There was also many good looking dessert selections including GF but we were both ( took home food ), so full we couldn't sample any. The waitress was delightful, attentive and helpful giving us some directions to various grocery stores. I would definitely recommend dining here! They have outside dining too.
