We stopped here for lunch while working IN Maryville. The outside was not so inviting...but once you get through the front door it is spacious and clean. We were not greeted right away, but as soon as the waitress made eye contact she was friendly and got right to us. We sat at a high top table for too. It was the typical bar and grill decor. The menu was descent. Everything you expect for bar and grill food. I ordered the tenderloin. I was slightly disappointed when it came to the table. I have never ordered one out that had not be tenderized. I had a root canal recently was was worried about how tough it would be. But I was pleasantly surprised. I could cut it with my fork. It was seasoned good and so tender. I ordered cottage cheese to go with it. Of course that was yummy. My boyfriend orsered a hamburger with bacon and cheese. He said it was one of the best burgers he had ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly...rare. His fries were a generous portion and hot and fresh. We really enjoyed our lunch there. It was about $25....We will be back!

The food was good, it is Applebee's, so it was not anything earth shattering. The service we had was excellent. The building needs a renovation. There are holes in the wall, paint peeling, wall paper peeling. The entry door is rusted through. I don't think it has changed much in the 15 years that I have been going here. I will warn out of towners the water in Maryville can be off putting at times. So be prepared Tea or Water may taste like fish. It is not only this restaurant but many places in town. If this place got a face lift, it would be 4 stars.

I was staying at the Boulder Inn & Suites next to the restaurant. I was pleased to see there was a restaurant way out here by Mozingo Lake. The place is about 6 miles outside of Maryville. I found out that the restaurant has only been open for 2 months. The restaurant is located in a lower level of a large building, that includes a Golf Pro Shop (there is a golf course there) and event space on the upper level. William Coy's is a Farm to Market restaurant, I expect that menu will change with the seasons. But that is a guess on my part. Menu included sandwich options (I had opted for Shroom Sandwich, ($9) which came with fries and I opted for sweet potatoes fries. Sandwich was wonderful, fries had flavor I would have like them to be a bit crunchier, but the flavors were still there. I also tried Manhattan from the bar menu. I had the waitress asking me how the drink was, it was the bartender's first cocktail. He did a wonderful job, it was perfect. The bar also had a nice selection of wines and beer on tap. The back board also listed specials for the evening. I also tried the Apple Crisp with ice cream. I thought it was light on the "crisp" part, but not on the flavors. I did get to meet the Chef who came by to see how the food was. I had the opportunity to chat for awhile and that is where I found out he use to work for FarmHouse in Kansas City another Farm to Market restaurant. Decor in the restaurant looks like it is still in the works. However, the sunset off the lake and golf course was definitely a plus. I wish him success and I look forward to dinning here the next time I am in Maryville.
