Meshingomesia Golf & Social Club is Marion and Grant County's best kept secret - fine dining, a beautiful event space, and a par 72 layout golfing green.
Great food! Everyone in our party raved over how much they loved the food. They delivered our food to our establishment so everyone including those that had to work could enjoy. Would defiantly use them again in the future. Our pleasure, Penny! I'm thrilled to hear everything was so well received -- thanks for forwarding the compliments along. :) Looking forward to next year's party already.Cheers,Kedric Perkins, PGA
By far, the best bar (as in, can still smoke, play tip boards, play the jukebox, etc. things that you don't find in may bars anymore) in town. There is an awesome patio where they grill out and play cornhole in the summer. Food is always great as is the service. Best margaritias in town as well.

Went here for the first time last night for a presentation. While the food was not bad, I wanted to write this review geared toward the elderly, handicapped or wheelchair bound. My fiancé is elderly and I am wheelchair bound. While the restaurant has a handicapped ramp it is very steep and dark at night but manageable. Once inside the restaurant however I was taken aback as the main restaurant is up a very long flight of stairs (15-20 stairs minimum) there is NO elevator, lift or ramp to the main floor. the presentation we attended was at ground level however this was not an actual part of the restaurant. I asked the waitress if we were to come as a "normal" dining couple if there was a way to get to the main restaurant. She stated no but if we called in advanced we could be served on the ground level (which I may add has no décor to speak of), if they were not busy. I'M SORRY...WHAT? This restaurant is not handicapped or elderly friendly (or if you have any other type of mobility issues). I find it INSULTING that as a paying customer would be discriminated against to that degree. Needless to say I will NEVER eat at this establishment again and will make sure I tell any elderly or handicapped friend or acquaintance the same thing.
Folkies is a great local pub with good food and fun.It is located in downtown Marion so is convenient for business people workin downtown. Evenings are a lot of fun and when weather permits it is nice to eat and have drinks outside. The food is always good. Much like pub food in England. If you are visiting Marion I highly recommend Folkies.

765-664-8613Located in Five Points Mall in North Marion.Good food at mid price point. Social gathering place. Open late.
The food here is always good. The wait time to get the food on the other hand is not so good. Wait times after you order are usually 30-45 minutes. Over the years the portions have also gotten smaller. Appitizers are no longer worth the $$$.
