Love the beers from here! Last time we ate ate the food was ok, nice but was expecting better given the reviews. Visited recently while staying at Spicers Tamarind nearby and decided to give the food another go. We just ate at the bar and shared some food and this time the food was excellent!Excellent food, excellent beers and great staff!

Went in on off chance after seeing platypus. They were just starting. Good quick service. Really good coconut crumbed prawns and calamari in the Figi Coconut Fry Up. Really good! Yummy Seafood chowder with fish, muscles, scallops, prawns. Good caesars salad. Good serving size. Really enjoyed it.

One of our party had a dog so we phoned to ensure there was outdoor seating and Coco would be welcome, which she was. Staff kindly moved a couple of tables so we could all sit under the shade sail in a very pleasant, spacious grassed area. (The indoor area was equally lovely.)All 6 of our meals were thoroughly enjoyed - prawns, schnapper, open steak sandwiches and a pot pie - way better than average cafe fare. Desserts not quite in the same category but still hard to resist. Exceptionally pleasant service, BYO accepted but not sure if this will still apply when the new winery next door opens soon.Hi Janice, thanks for your lovely review! We're delighted you enjoyed your meals and found our staff to be as lovely as we know they are! Rest assured, BYO will still apply when Clouds The Barrel reopens in early-September. Off the main street, down a steep driveway, Finbar's is a little hard to find unless you drive and park on the street behind the main street. Ample parking on Bicentenary Lane. Good atmosphere for entertainment and really enjoyed the pizzas.
