Seriously? Two filled bench-style tables, over 20 people and one waitress? My friend got poor advice from her - way more food than he wanted-, slow drinks, luke warm, slow from kitchen (dinner took over 1-1/2 hrs, I got parking ticket to show for it). Although burgers are their speciality, they also do a good job with appetizers, drinks and salads. The toppings for burgers are limitless. The fries leave much to be desired, but become passable when eating late and /or while drinking. Servers are fast, efficient and friendly.

We were in the area on business, staying at a local hotel, and it was about 1000 degrees outside. We usually enjoy finding the local spots, but based on not wanting to drive very far and needing some serious A/C, this was the spot we chose for dinner based on a few reviews. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly, even a few minutes early, I believe. Nice start! I ordered the Southwest Steak Tacos and specifically asked whether the steak was sliced steak (as opposed to simply chunks of well done beef). I was told it was sliced (and mistakenly assumed that it might be prepared less than well done). I was therefore disappointed when it arrived as chunks of well-done stew-like meat. Combined with the salsa, pico, and aioli, it was a drippy mess to eat. I would not have ordered it if the sliced steak question had been answered accurately. My companion ordered the Hand Cut Filet Mignon and requested it cooked to medium. Unfortunately, based on the fact that the cut was very uneven in its thickness, the filet ranged from well done to rare, depending upon where it was cut into. I think for $27.90 for a 7-oz. cut, someone should have been able to prepare a consistently grilled steak.Regarding the service, our server was pleasant, but we felt as if she was attempting to up-sell us on much of what we ordered. We're assuming she had been instructed to do so. Did I want an additional taco? Too many pitches for appetizers while we were perusing the menu. The worst offense was after my companion responded, that "the well vodka is fine," he was still met with a litany of other higher-priced vodka options available, to which he politely declined. When our bill arrived, we had indeed been charged for a higher-priced, not ordered brand of vodka. At this point, we were tired and decided to suck it up and let it go. But, this was compounded by the fact that he was also charged $2.75 for a glass of club soda. Ordering this regularly in other establishments, we had never been charged for this before. It was just club soda from the tap.On the bright side, the highlight of the meal was the fresh, warm bread. Keep in mind that you have to request it - it was not offered, but when it arrived with pats of butter, it was amazing! Definitely have the bread. The meal was okay, the service was okay, but when back in that area, I think we'll seek out a local spot and leave the "chains" to others.

All I have to say was the place was clean, waitress were amazing ( the view wasn't to shabby either) and food was excellent. Oh did I mention the draft beer was not only the coldest I have ever had but at a decent price. Honestly I'm not sure how they do it but hats off to the hiring manager. I've worked In the service industry for many years and wish I had a bar/ restaurant run so smoothly. Love the place and will return with more friends in the future. Oh did I mention we visited the sat and Sunday after the Nascar race was cancelled.

This is somewhat of a 'trendy' place in Royal Oak. It was crowed when we arrived for a relatively early dinner but no problem getting a table. Service was pretty prompt as well considering the crowd. Pleasant and friendly waitress. GREAT menu with some unusual unique items: I had the duck burger which was fantastic!Atmosphere was unique and interesting: building was a working garage, ie for fixing cars. The only reason I can't rate the place a '5' is the noise level was deafening. Playing music at high volume, it was really impossible to converse with my family. If you don't care for conversation, this is a perfect place!

My wife and i stopped in before a concert. We had the town tavern burger, shirt rib tacos and chile grilled brussel sprouts. The burger was terrific, tacos were good and the brussel sprouts were outstanding. Nice beer selection. We had 3 beers and a coffee all which totalled just over $50. The service was a true highlight. The host, the waitress, the bussers and the management were very friendly, efficient, and helpfully. I would come back just for the service alone

This golf themed restaurant is a relaxed spot to dine. The walls of the clubhouse looking interior are filled with golf photos and memorabilia. The large dinner menu has a wide range of choices, that includes meat, seafood and vegetarian options. There's something for everyones tastes. The Masters has a full bar.I had the pan fried perch with a baked potato. While not the best perch I've ever had, there's was plenty of it. Quite a filling meal. The price was reasonable for the portion. Service was friendly and down to earth.Dine with Golf's greats...well at least their photos.
