Invited to DOC Wine Bar for a bridal shower. The venue offers a private dining room for special events. The shower was on a Sunday from 10am-1pm. The room was perfect for such an event, cozy and elegant, ample seating and a fireplace. The bar lined one end of the room, offering coffee, mimosas or Bloody Marys. The special menu offered choice of eggs Benedict, turkey panini or pancakes with fruit. Dessert was a warm cookie with ice cream served in a skillet pan to be shared at the table. After the gifts were opened, we were served a flight of 3 wines with an accompanying charcuterie board. Great service and excellent food made the bridal shower a success.

Dined here with a party of 11 (includes 3 small children) for my daughterâs birthday. To take advantage of their happy hour, when we made the reservation we asked to be seated in their patio area which they did. Arrived and table was ready on time. Our server was Leo and was very attentive throughout the evening. Our first drink order came in a reasonable amount of time and all enjoyed. We ordered some appetizers (happy hour flatbread and sushi rolls) and they came in a reasonable amount of time. This is where things kind of went sideways. Our second round of drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive. Leo apologized a couple times but would just say, âa couple minutes.â Our drinks finally came and then they brought the 3 kids meals so we thought we were good and adults food would be shortly following. Not the case. I am not sure if bringing the kids meals that early was by design or if it what was a kitchen goof. Either way, the parents appreciated it as they were able to help the kids eat while not worrying about their own food getting cold. Our food took another 10-15 minutes after that. Again just got the âa couple minutes.â Would have much rather had a manager come over and explain the truth instead of just patronizing us.When our food finally did come, everything was great with one exception-one person asked for the sauce on the side (spicy) and it came on her chicken. Not the end of the world but worth mentioning. All food was tasty with larger than expected portions. To sum it all up:Pros: Food and drink quality, portion size, happy hour specials, took 3 happy hour drinks off our bill because of the waitCons: Slow food and drink service (not on server but on the kitchen and bar), a manager should have taken a few seconds to come to our table-party of 11 and our bill was over $300.00 with tip.Ultimately my test of a restaurant is will I go back? The answer is yes but probably not with a large party.

I occasionally meet a client at Brick House for a couple of drinks and a short meeting. There are tables along the back wall which offer privacy. The drinks are reasonable, we have yet had anything to eat from the Brink House. It's basically an up scale sports bar.

I hadn't been here in a while. When a friend chose it for a get together, I didn't remember it as having great food, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a special, Georgia Chicken Pecan that was excellent; tender, great flavor, generous portion. The garlic mashed potatoes and the carrots and green beans were delicious. I would definitely recommend this dish. Service was great.

The menu is very large with options for all taste. We ordered the pretzels and nachos first which in it's self was a meal. All our meals came out rather quickly and all tasted good. Some of our party tried several of their brews. The place was full when we went but was able the still hear all the conversations at our long table. I will go back and try some different items.

I visited during a Bears game (they were being slaughtered by the Saints) and they have an impressive number of flat screens all around the place (not just around the bar itself). They also had a number of well-known IPAs available and a food menu with standard bar fare (plus better entrees too). I went with an order of their Zinger wings (hottest sauce) and they were just OK (a little on the dry side, truth be told).Service was fine and prices were inline with places like this.Hey, GoneOffTheGrid!
