We love this place - it opened under new ownership at the beginningof this season and the staff are so friendly and fun it makes it worth a visit just for that! The burgers are the best in the port too.

We checked out this place on tripadvisor before coming to the Grau du Roi and we decided to follow the previous good reviews.I had to say that we were not disappointed. Food was tasty and quantities were correct not huge but enough to satisfy us. The service was very nice, all young employees took care of us with efficiency and kindness, nothing to add.The prices are not crazy for the location. The moelleux au chocolat was perfect! I recommend it ;)

... the bull-fighting posters (definitely entertaining, and NSFW)!We were in Le Grau-du-Roi after a long day in the Camargue. The idea of shared "small" plates appealed, partly since a couple of us preferred vegetarian fare.In turns out that Grand Cafe de Paris "small" plates are anything BUT!! We all were hungry, and ordered what seemed like a good selection of plates to share -- and ended up with more food than we could deal with. The food was uniformly good. Service was uniformly weird - in spite of one native French speaker among us. But we got all the orders we expected, and nothing destined for some other table. So it was all good.We were seated right on the quay-side, Quai Colbert (!), the sun was getting low, the wind was less of a factor than it had been earlier in the Camargue -- so a great time to be sea-side in southern France!
