Welcome to Chief's Pub! We are a family friendly restaurant by day and a full bar by night. We serve American fare and offer many choices for alcohol, including over 75 different beers. Sports fan? We offer 16 HDTV's and 1 huge 135" TV! Live music every o
The line at Egg Harbor was out the door,so we walked over a feet and turned brunch into lunch. Good burger (pretzel roll) and fries, big screen TV with sports. Both families and Lake Forest College students there. Jeanette our server was nice. It's close to the college and there is plenty of parking. I was temped to try the Chicken Salad or a Meatball sandwich, maybe next time.First off, TraderJoey, love it being my name is Joe! Thank you for the kind review! It's not often that our restaurant takes business from Egg Harbor, they have great food and the best breakfast in town. However, when you are looking for sports, pizza, big salads and an awesome burger, we are the go to spot and I'm glad you were able to come in and see that, and we hope to see you soon....with your college friends. Don't forget that next time you are in, show your college I.D. and you receive a 10% discount on your entire check, including alcohol if your of age. Cheers!

Stopped by for lunch after shopping the Libertyville Farmers Market. What a cool place. I really loved the ambience. I had the Grilled Salmon sandwich served with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce and tomato and a side of Asian coleslaw. The sandwich was fantastic and the sesame oil dressed coleslaw was great. My server Victoria was excellent and very friendlyI look forward to returning to try one of the creative cocktails and just hang out and enjoy the cool pub/bar setting.

Sports bar and grill across from the Great Lakes Naval Base, adjacent to Red Carpet Inn. Enjoy watching all games and sporting events on one of our 25 screens, and enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late nigh
I went here as I wen to a Flanagan's in FL and had a great experience. I wait d at the bar for 5 minutes before I was given a menu. I decided on a burger and fries and was given complimentary soup and roll. The roll was great the soup was onion with croutons in it. The burger tasted okay almost as if it was frozen. I will not likely return to this location.

Local restaurant with an ecclectic menu: bar food, pizza, greek, Italian. They have TVs with sports Games throughout. I ordered the lemon chicken soup. I do not recommend this. it tasted like a can of cream of chicken soup and there was hardly any rice in it. The rice must have all absorbed into the soup. I should have tasted it prior, but it was not a good soup.

Located in the secluded lower levels of the wonderful Deer Path Inn, this restaurant's atmosphere is warm and unintimidating. Service is excellent and friendly and you can actually chose from 2 menus: one from this restaurant, the other from its adjacent cousin, more of a wine bar. Salads were fresh and inviting, the little burgers (see photo) delicious, and the Chilean sea bass with risotto absolutely stellar. Great dessert too (see photo of orange cream creme brulee). Wine selection was quite exhaustive, although I am told the English Room restaurant that sits above much more upscale) has a terrific wine list, praised by Wine Spectator. All in all, a really nice experience that we would highly recommend.

Elevated American. Scratch Kitchen. Riffs on Classic Cocktails. Thoughtful Wine List including selections by the glass, bottle and four wines on tap.
My daughter in law ordered a chicken salad dish. It arrived with romaine lettuce. We questioned our waitress and she said she was not aware of any national recall of romaine lettuce.( it was day 3 of the recall) Later a woman ( a presumed manager) came to our table to tell us we were incorrect and that there wasnât any national recall. She went on to say that they only use reliable local suppliers and they would never give them bad products. Unbelievable.

We had a great expectations to try and taste something new. Unfortunately the whole experience is awful. The place does look good but what about food ?Salad bar - please go to salad class. Boring and poor selection with cold tasteless soup and dirty surrounding. Fish fry ? Please send someone to the fish fry class. That is not fish at all! It is an unfrozen cheese stick! Very poor place. Never again. Too sad

Rita's is a little place that I would never have tried without reviews. It looks small and worn down on the outside. But inside is a great little bar and 8-10 tables. They are always busy at lunch ( we've gone several times). Food is good, home cooked, comfort food- sometimes even diner like. My husband loves their potato salad. It's family run, and they always greet you with a smile. I'm glad we tried it. We will go back.

Nice local brewery. I like the session and the IPA. The food comes from next door. I liked the grilled cheese sandwich. Comes with fries. Laid back kind of place with some fun events.

The Lantern is a local drinking and dining institution! Excellent and well priced drinks, great burgers and other comfort foods (especially the chicken pot pie!) and attentive service make us return again and again. Love this place!
