I love the delicious and different cocktails served here! Definitely the place to visit for cocktails in Umhlanga. The snack type food was ok but the next day realised I should have eaten more! Smokers are able to smoke outside at the back of the restaurant.

Family Friendly Bar & Restaurant with magnificent sea views from Umhlanga all the way though to the Bluff.
From this popular restaurant situated in Glenashley you can enjoy wonderful views of the beautiful Indian Ocean. If it's a nice sunny day a table on the front deck is a good idea. Comprehensive menu pretty much offering something for everyone. We had the peri peri chicken and calamari combo and it was delicious. Free underground parking is an added bonus.

Ate here twice so can say food is good quality and tasty. Service friendly all be it a bit slow as it's so busy. In evening time more of a pub vibe than family dining but would definitely return if visiting without kids.

Small. Simple. Special. The Aviator is neither restaurant nor pub, but a tasteful combination of both situated in the heart of a leafy neighbourhood. Serving a wide range of drinks including craft beer on tap and offering a small, tasty menu with weekly s
In the area and needed somewhere close for a quick supper and then back to B&B for work. It is your typical neighbourhood pub and the few that were there were obviously locals. I ordered a hamburger and I was the only one that was eating. It must have taken close to 30 minutes, even the waiter was embarrassed as he kept coming to tell me the food is almost ready on at least two occasions. The quality of the meal was good and the waiter tried to give good service but a big let down from the kitchen, would certainly not visit on a busy night.Hi StephenI am very sorry to hear about your experience at our restaurant and can assure you that this is not the norm. Please could you kindly call me with more info so I can apologize in person, try rectify the situation and prevent any future issues.Kind regards,Michelle GM0728199626

We called in after a walk on the seafront for a nice afternoon drink. What a disappointment. Staff were gathered round the bar undergoing training, which was not a problem but we were largely ignored whilst the waiting staff interacted, sometimes inappropriately, amongst themselves, read the paper and showed disinterest in the customers. At over R100 per gin cocktail this wasnât good enough. Complained to the management who said they would follow up. A shame as the rest of the hotel had an air of quality.
