Perched in the picturesque Ysternia Village on the west side of Tinos, you will find MAYOU All-day Bar, which opened its light-blue windows to the disarming beauty of the Aegean Sea exactly after 200 years, with a promise to take you with its view, warm p
A bit far from Tinos, in a beautiful authentic greek village with outstanding view, between houses from the 19th century (and even earlier) the coffee bar stands out in its hipster style. Playing english music and serving fresh universal brunch. The food is fresh and good, the coffee was on point but the place it self isnât part of the local view. Recommend to pay a visit and walk through the narrow alleys to enjoy some authenticity. Keep some space for the yogurt delight...
Went there tonight on a date night having been to tinos many times before but never to Komi and curious to try a new and ambitious place. Very nice setting on a gorgeous square (we came at night) and friendly waiter. The design of the place was elegant and tasteful andcould quite easily have gotten our five stars if they worked on the music (too loud disco/pop tunes from the 70s/80s) and offered (9EUR) cocktails that were not so sweet that they tasted almost the same despite different alcohols. Experimenting with more of the great local produce would also have been appreciated - and seem to go well with the recent trend on the island (though I realize good ouzo cocktails may simply be impossible. ..) A few more savoury and locally inspired snacks on the menu would also be great to go with wine/beer/cocktails.

Zoga Restaurant is located within Hotel Aeolis Tinos Suites and is a benchmark for gourmet dining in Tinos every summer. It is open to the public, it offers unparalleled views of the Aegean Sea and its neighboring islands, and invites you to new gastronom
We went here for our last night on Tinos, as it was recommended as more of a fine dining experience. The restaurant was beautifully set up, relaxed but upmarket and staff really attentive right from the start of our visit. The food was amazing, we tested several seafood dishes (octopus, shrimps tempura, squid). Service good and views gorgeous, overlooking the island and the ocean.Dear Alexandros,Thank you very much for your great review! We work really hard to offer the best food in the best possible environment, so I am happy to see that reflected on your last visit.Hope to see you again soon!

Where to eat Mediterranean food in Kionia: The Best Restaurants and Bars
A serious amount of money and a lot of effort were invested in creating âBiancoâ. This did not hit the target I fear!Oh. And those who were prepared to brave the steel and very narrow access track! It can be challenging for the less experienced driver as the likelihood of needing to reverse on a single track of an incline of 18% + is very high!Itâs location, though difficult to get to, was one of the most popular among those who were seeking to find âthe unspoiltâ and easy-on-the-mind Tinos. The island which, though just a short ferry ride away, was light years away from the craziness and (expensive) cheapness of Mykonos! The typically Cycladic style taverna is still there but it has been relegated by the designer (?) of âBiancoâ l. into a serving hatch from which dishes are carried to the eating area sixty yards (!) away!More unfortunate is that the restaurant and beach areas are segregated/hidden from view as the front of the taverna has been turned into a parking area with park assistants(!). In TÃnos...We went there twice. Once in the day and once in the evening a couple of days later. We were greeted by a pretty young lady with an attitude reminiscent of the sales assistants of Bond Street in the good times of the seventies.Beauty alone doesnât make a front-of-shop manager!Training by an experienced person is required. 3rd degree questioning at the doorstep doesnât help!Daytime dishes are good and I would describe them as high quality and taste for an Athens seaside place in the Kavouri area. Not for a sea side place in TÃnos.A look at other eateries already popular in TÃnos would be a good idea.A look at the number of sun loungers would be a good idea as not everyone likes to be this close to the person laying on the lounger next to them! In general, Iâd say our daytime impressions of the restaurant âBiancoâ were on the positive sideThe evening visit was not however! The dayâs special -sea urchin pasta- was recommended to us by the maitre and we decided to go for it. It tasted good but the â¬28.00 price seen when the bill came, spoiled this! Overall the dishes were good but very small! The quantity reminds of nouvelle cuisine of old days!Taramasalata was no more than a spoonful drawn across a long dish! We were surprised to be asked if we wanted bread for this!We ordered a salad with Tinos sun dried tomatoes, TÃnos âPetrotoâ and figs.It had fresh plum tomatoes a pasty cheese and no figs! When we pointed this out to the waiter his response was âoh I will report itâ! And that the fig taste was in the dressingâ.. We heard nothing more about the other two missing ingredients.. The lavraki carpaccio was excellent but -again too little for the price!Gavros marinated was also great but too little! This is an island in the Aegean and dishes like this are too well known to be served âwantingâ in quantity... Tinos doesnât need to mimic the tardiness and follow fake, get-rich-quick methods of Mykonos. It has been identified and liked by so many travel reporters as âunspoiled and still originalâ...Perhaps this should be taken into account by âBiancoâ?With some minor adjustments it can be a âmustâ when in TÃnos.

In the most picturesque alley of the historic center of the city of Tinos, at the place where our family carpenter shop used to be, we created the Myrtilo. The new proposal that was missing from the city of Tinos! An authentic bistro on the pedestrian Afe
