We are a local pub serving quality local food, we boast that we have our own farm growing our own vegetables and rearing our own meats. We only buy day boat fish and shellfish from Brixham market and local day boats in Salcombe
Perfectly cooked and presented food. I had the pheasant, ham and leek pie with a side of vegetables, all of which were delicious and packed full with flavour (washed down with a cracking pint of Bays Brewery's Breakwater IPA). Excellent food and excellent service - first class.

Four of us visited for dinner on a Saturday. On arrival we were seated upstairs next to a window. The first thing we noticed was the table was right next to a radiator and as I sat down my leg touched it and it made me jump. It was so hot you couldnât touch it. I asked a waitress how to turn it down and she said it was on the mains so she did it herself. It took a while to cool down and we were thankfully able to able to open the window which helped as it was stiflingly hot.Anyway onto the more positive food and drink. Drinks orders were taken promptly by one lovely waitress and the food orders by another. They were both very friendly, helpful and efficient. We ordered various mains and the food was on the whole very good. A slightly strange combination though, the lamb came with peppers and gravy, a first for me, not unpleasant just a bit odd! The lamb was very tasty and well cooked . The risotto with fish was very good. Our friends said their meals were lovely. We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert all round, very moorish and exactly how it should be.Itâs great they allow dogs, it seems almost all of Salcombe is very dog friendly which is lovely. The food and drinks were fairly priced and we had a very nice evening. We left a large tip for the excellent waitresses in particular.Would definitely come back again and try a few more things on the menu.Thank you for your review. Best wishes Liz & Tim and the award winning Team Vic

The Creeks End Inn is a restaurant and bar fantastically located in the heart of Kingsbridge. More affectionately know as The Creeks, we are situated on the towns' main square and at the head of the Kingsbridge - Salcombe Estuary. There is plenty of parki
It is situated perfectly for the car park and obviously gets busy. Seems to have a mixture of locals and holiday makers but everyone seemed comfortable in the space including the dogs. Menu choices were good with breakfast served until late along side the main menu. The 3 dishes we had lacked a bit of quality but were ok. As we were there early it seemed to be the 1st crab sandwich of the day so ended up with bread that was stale on one side.

The CRABSHELL INN is gloriously situated on the quayside in Kingsbridge and with its south westerly aspect basks in the sun all day. The Crabshell is gaining a fine reputation as an eatery of distinction with an increasingly acclaimed menu. The Inn is âch
We enjoyed the location and atmosphere of this restaurant. Our party enjoyed the kids pizza, scallops and most of all the mussels. The mussels were plump, tasted great and excellent value as the portions were generous. Others said the crab salad was not good value, especially compared to the crab sandwich and the crab meat was average tasting. The Crabshell bouillabaisse was disappointing due to the taste of the stew. The service was very slow as they was busy.

Pub restaurant in Kingbridge - Delicious Food Served All Day - Gourmet Burgers - Local Seafood and Fish - Real Ales
Having originally planned to lunch in Salcombe, until we saw the ridiculous prices being charged in the pubs and restaurants there, we went to Kingsbridge instead. Good move: lunch in the Seven Stars was delicious and reasonably priced. My husband had the Chicken Fajitas (an unusual choice for pub food), which arrived piping hot and sizzling. He assured me it was very tasty indeed. I had cheese & vegetable quiche with rocket salad and sweet potato fries, which was also excellent. With a pint and a half of beer, the meal and drinks came to less than £30.Good food, good beer, good prices and friendly, cheerful service: the perfect lunch!

Our 14th Century Inn is steeped in tradition and is a short walk from the surfing beach of Bantham.
We came for a late Sunday lunch, the place was still packed. Sitting in the older, atmospheric front room, tables were cramped but cosy. Service was charming, prices reasonable & we approved of their bespoke gin menu. Roasts were traditional & generous as was fish & chips. A lighter dish was the catch of the day (cod) served with salad minus the menu potato option. Parking was a bit of a nightmare since it was a sunny half-term day but ultimately worth the uphill walk back. Felt like an authentic English Sunday pub experience.

We ate here 3 times during our recent holiday in Frogmore and were extremely pleased. The food was good (the portions huge, so beware!). Service was friendly and the general atmosphere relaxed. We also went to the Jazz night and enjoyed that hugely. Singer had a lovely voice and the music was very pleasant. Prices also reasonable. Parking at the back seemed plentiful (we were able to walk). Would certainly recommend.

Well, what a lovely surprise! We had been placed at The Tower Inn by the company who had arranged our South West Coast Path walking accommodation so did not know what to expect. This is a gorgeous country village pub with spectacular food and friendly staff. My partner chose the seafood pasta from the specials menu which was bursting full of shellfish and flavour. My lamb was melt in the mouth. Highly recommended!

We went for curry night and the food was excellent. Three curries and rice and a samosa all for £14 and really delicious and well presented. Friendly pub that does not rely on it's location to attract customers. Came her back in March and the food was really good then.

From when we arrived bar lady Anita (Nite) was friendly & helpful. I had stake and kidney pudding and my partner had the chilli battered fish.It was all delicious. I asked for extra gravy which the chef happily complied with. It's a nice country pub atmosphere with beautiful gardens at the rear.I would highly recommend.
