We heard Cerno's was voted "best burger in Illinois". 100% agreed. The meat is a delicious blend of beef, and was seared just perfectly. The lunch special today was a cheeseburger and 1 side for $6.50. The amount of food we received was amazing! We will be returning!

I asked if the hamburgers were hand made and the waitress said they were. I ordered one. When it came I would say it probably wasn't 2 ounces of meat. It was about 3 inches across and about 1/4 inch thick. It and fries was $8.50. My husband had the tenderloin (which was a good size and cost less) and he shared with me. It was delicious. I was very disappointed since it was the first time we had ate there.We are very sorry to see this review come through. We would like to get a little more detail upon your visit. This used to be the old Pioneer Club. The interior has been nicely remodeled. Very spacious and plenty of room between tables. Menu has large variety of food. I ordered the "Mexinette" which was their special and it was great! Our friends got a pasta dish and panini that looked fabulous also. My only complaint was whenever someone opened the door, the whole west side of dining room got a huge draft. Brrr!

Yes, they have a broken chimney outside. They have a large dining/bar area inside. Expansive menu with food options for the entire family. Great BBQ, sandwiches, salads, and fries. Good for large family groups. It can get quite busy. Worth a visit while in the area.
