Lively New Orleans-based chain offering oysters, po' boys, gumbo & other Cajun-Creole classics.
My wife and I had two free weekend nights at a Hilton property, so we decided to go to New Orleans. I'm originally from there but live in Houston, so this was another tourist like vacation. Acme Oyster House was a welcome surprise. We were trying to get into another restaurant that had a long wait, so we decided to try Acme. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted good. This is will be a favorite for us every time I visit home.

Open 24 hours a day, a full bar, and decent food. Limited menu, but the food was freshly prepared, right in front of me, and was quite tasty.Try the loaded baked potato salad. I was not sure what to expect but it was quite good.No table service, but the bar was very helpful.Prices are good.

Great burgers- I really love the Cajun barbecue burger, but they serve many other creative burgers as well. Fresh beef and grilled to perfection. I get a burger here almost every time we come to New Orleans. They have other menu items but they are best know for there burgers.
Party of 4, We ordered appetizers and entrées. Terrible food service was odd. The waitress said she was a picky eater and didnât have any experience with anything on the menu. Appetizers were previously frozen and the entrées were even worse. Do not ever order a poor boy here, especially roast beef are the hamburgers are charcoal. Too bad, because the ambience good and the family activities outside are very nice. The bar is worthwhile as well.

Went here to catch game 7 of the World Series and I had a great time. Plenty of TVs, pool, darts and cheap beer, but the best part were the steaks. Reasonably priced, seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great food, cold beer and sportss

Stopped at Heads and Tails Seafood & Oyster bar after a long day. We arrived around 5 pm and had no wait. Our waiter stopped to introduce himself as he passed by and came right back for our drink orders. He also took our appetizer order and told us we were still in time for "Happy Hour"! If I don't see anything that I know that I will love I typically order Fried Shrimp -- a staple hard to mess us. But, on a whim, I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the Pasta Barbara. When it arrived, I was disappointed it was in a "red" cream sauce but I was pleasantly surprised. Two nicely fried rounds of eggplant on a bed of shrimp fettuccini was really good. My husband got a dozen oysters and a pan seared redfish over HUGE asparagus!!! BONUS to the waiter for keeping our tea glasses full!!!

Fabulous redfish which was prepared the way I like it (grilled rather than blackened) and served with the best sweet potato fries I have ever eaten. A nice bottle of wine and then very yummy bread pudding. Overall a very casual and friendly environment with super well prepared and served fresh food. Simply superb!

Stopped there during long layover in NOLA. Arrived around brunch time so went with BBQ Shrimp Omelet. Easily best thing I've had at an airport. As someone else mentioned, my expectations for airport food are very low so I didn't even take picture before digging in. Really good. We also ordered Shrimp & Grits. Also good. A little pricey but airport food is always overpriced. Oh, and make sure you order some French bread!

Took my parents here for dinner, we're all from out of town. The restaurant was very busy but we still received excellent service from Errol and the whole crew. The food was great, every item was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Visiting for Jazz fest and ate here for one night. Our waiter Jimmy made the night! He gave us recommendations from drinks to apps to the main course. We pretty much all ate from the list of specials for the night but everything was incredible. Definitely the best we had eaten on our trip and none of our meals had been disappointing. Five stars all the way!
