The food was not worth what was paid. The sushi roll was tiny. Wine served was flat as though it had been sitting out for days, and the staff seemed reluctant to correct the problem. After dinner was over, our server, Pan, came and approached our friendâs date, chastising them b/c no tip was placed on the credit card receipt. Pan apparently assumed no cash tip would be paid. All this took place while we were still sitting in our seats. It was difficult to understand Pan, so I asked another server what was being said. She explained the tips were split with the chef, and if a guest did not tip, the server would be forced to pay the chefâs gratuity out of their own pocket. This aggressive and completely inappropriate confrontation nearly led to no tip being left. However, a cash tip of more than 15% was left. With other great dining options in town, it is unlikely we will ever return or recommend this restaurant.

Every time I'm in Joplin I always go to Applebee's for their Half Price Appetizers. The Won Ton Tacos are fantastic! I also like their brisket quesadillas. I didn't like the cranberry margarita. Too sour! The servers are friendly. The restaurant is clean.Would definitely encourage you to eat at this restaurant!

This place has wonderful food, service and friendly guests! It is very clean, nostalgic, and would be a comfortable place if you like quality in any city! The Lounge Server, Cody, was most professional and helpful. He recommended the filet and shrimp stir fry and it was flawless, we also had a blackened sea bass that was excellent as well. The menu was diverse and eligible for service in any city. An assorted wine list was well done and was served with generous pours. This will be a place we will visit on each trip to this historic town. Enjoy!

Finn's hosts a sophisticated atmosphere and serves gourmet food and hand crafted cocktails.
Gorgeous decor and cozy space really impressed us. Friendly waiter and excellent pre-dinner drinks. Waiter was brand new and needed to go ask someone to get answers to our basic questions. What we ordered didn't quite match what we were served. I ordered the Blackened Snapper and I received a generous piece of breaded snapper. My husband ordered steak with blue cheese topping and when it arrived, he was informed that they were out of blue cheese. Had he known earlier, he would have changed his order. Table service was lacking with goblets, glasses, empty plates not removed until the very end of our meal. The waiter confirmed that my husband would receive a complimentary dessert but the bill didn't reflect that. In summary, Finn's needs to work on menu accuracy and improve table service.

Red Hot and Blue is a full-service, casual-themed restaurant chain and caterer featuring delicious award-winning ribs, Memphis-style barbeque, smoked wings, and Southern sides and desserts. The atmosphere is steeped in legendary and contemporary blues mus
Staying again in Joplin for business i decided to try another restaurant. Liking bbq'd food Red Hot & Blue wasn't too far from the hotel.Lots of parking available at the restaurant, and i was shown to a booth for 4,quite early in the evening so still a few tables available. My waitress Tara was friendly and fast.I chose pulled pork and chicken, with fries and macaroni cheese as sides, and as i was driving pineapple cream soda (which was the highlight of the meal!).Being from the UK i only get to eat bbq in the US a handful of times per year. The pork was well cooked good smokey flavour, but the portion was just too little, chicken portion was good, nice and moist. Fries' portion was on the small side too. There was a choice of 4 sauces on the table the hoochie coochie sauce was flavoursome and hot, but totally overwhelmed the smoked flavour. The head sauce seemed the best for my tastes.Maybe i should have tried some ribs but pork and chicken wasn't anything outstanding.

We stopped in for lunch Saturday afternoon when a very large party decided to stop in as well....probably 30 people. The staffing was not adequate, but I think thatâs understandable when you get surprised with 30 people. Three girls out front and staff in the kitchen. I have never seen people remain so calm while working so hard. They moved fast, requested our understanding and commenced to provide a great meal service. The seemed to immediately realize they needed help and more staff was called into assist. The whole time they were polite and kept thanking us for stopping in that day. Most impressively was the food was amazing (I had the fish tacos, kids had the chicken), they keep the dishes and glasses picked up AND the beer was served cold. The bar has a great atmosphere and a cool outside seating area. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and a full bar. I donât know when we will be back to Joplin, but when we return weâll be stopping in again. If I could give this place six stars I would!

Went for lunch on a Sunday and probably should have left when we noticed it was dead at the peak after-church lunch time. Ordered 2 kids cheeseburgers, spaghetti, and a salad. Waited 45 minutes for the food, and waitress forgot our kids meal sodas for about 25 minutes. Once food arrived... they forgot the bread with my spaghetti so my husband gave me his off his salad plate, and it was hard as a brick. They put bleu cheese all over my husbands salad after he specifically asked it be left off, so they had to remake the salad. They forgot ketchup on daughters cheeseburger that we specifically requested and left on all the salad/tomatoes that we specifically requested be left off. We asked for ketchup only on sonâs cheeseburger and they put mayo only, which he hates, so he could barely eat it after we scraped the mayo off with napkins. Waitress never offered to refill kids drinks, though they sat empty/nearly empty the whole time we ate. Waitress kept rolling her eyes every time we told her of all the food errors. Manager knew of the error with my husbands salad. Table behind us didnât get appetizer until after their food came out, so their app was comped. We waited to see if anything would be comped on our bill since we had worse issues than they did. Nothing was comped. We didnât ask bc we were in a hurry by that time and donât like causing trouble, but it was ridiculous nothing was offered. We will never be back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here last weekend. We ordered onion rings, traditional wings with a dry seasoning and a sauce & seasoned fries. The portion size of the onion rings & fries was huge and we loved the spicy ranch dipping sauce they came with. The wings were wonderful! So wonderful we talked about our dinner for the rest of the night and I recommended Hackett's to all my co-workers the next day! Our waiter was great and it's a very clean and friendly environment. For all the food we got, including 2 beers, the price was acceptable. We left with our bellies FULL and a smile on our face so you can guarantee we will come back again.

So many different and unique items to choose from on the menus. I absolutely love the peanut butter burger. Another favorite of mine is the heavenly burger. The buns on this burger are literally donuts. They also have a huge selection of local and import beers.Thank you so much for your review!

It doesn't look like much from the outside. And the inside looks like an older drive in. But the food is not standard drive in food. The fried mushrooms appetizer-the best I've had. My wife had the salmon sandwich on sourdough bread with bacon, and grilled asparagus. I had the bison burger and fries. This place was a great find. Great service-the waitress was very helpful deciding what to order. Not the cheapest place in the world. Around $40 for the two of us, not including the tip. But worth every penny. Glad we found this on TripAdvisor.
