This is one of those places where everybody knows your name. Itâs crowded after work and during almost any ball season finals. Thereâs plenty of parking because they are located in a previous branch bank at s shopping center. Thereâs indoor or outdoor seating. There are German dishes, American burgers with a twist of originality, and thereâs fish, too. They have live entertainment and they have trivia games with a guy emceeing with a trainer dj voice. I love the pretzel appetizer and the wings. The fish sandwich is great as is the bratwurst. Shucks, itâs all good. Inside can get rowdy and loud but the fun spills outside too. I will go back.

The wings were amazing. Pulled BBQ sandwich was good. Sides were just average. Customer service was fast, and friendly Worth checking out

Having been here last year, the service was a bit slower in the beginning but overall, food came out fast and was cooked well. The place was busy but not packed, so I didn't understand why things were running a little slower than normal - maybe they were short staffed but it's a big week/weekend in KY and I'd think they would adjust for that. I'll be back again, still great place for pizza!

My wife and I were recommended to this place and we went there on a saturday about seven-- they were busy but we were seated right away and they took our order in about 10 minutes and then we waited 2 hours before getting our food-- I wouldve walked out but they kept saying -it will be here shortly-- food ok but wont go back.

Had been here before, figured on a revisit since we were in the area. While the food was good, the environment was unwelcoming. A very large group of loud guests spewing profanities and graphic language totally inappropriate for children. Management showed no interest in intervening. Won't return.EverettS, I am sorry about the negative experience you had in my restaurant, it is not the normal experience that most of my customers receive. I am equally disappointed that my managers we not able to address the situation better. If you would like to discuss this issue with me I would welcome a phone call.Thank you.502-931-5637.

Brasserie Provence is a local family-owned and operated restaurant offering casual, upscale dining and traditional French cuisine with a South-of-France flair. A large selection of Provençale and classical French dishes offers something for everyone at an
There are many things to like about this place. It is attractive, the table spacing and acoustics keep it from ever being too loud, and the service is good. The pricing is generally appropriate for the type/quality of food, and the serving sizes should satisfy. But at least on this occasion, a few things fell short. Firstly, they charge $2 per basket for bread. I've never been charged for plain bread anywhere and found this very weird for a restaurant of this caliber. They also charge $3 for substitions of sides that are all priced the same if you order them a la carte. As to the food, we started with calamari. If there is any common complaint about calamari, I would guess it's that it can easily be overcooked and chewy. This was a good portion and quite tender and well seasoned, but it was actually too soft. The coating lacked a satisfying crispiness. I had the mussels and frites. It was well prepared and the mussels were sweet, but the wine cream sauce was rather thin, screaming for a bit more cream or homemade mayonnaise in the base. My hubby's pork chop was delicious and perfectly cooked, but his augratin potatoes were under done. We skipped dessert. It's a nice place, but they need to drop the petty charges and pay attention to some preparation details.Hello Leslie, and thank you for dining in Provence. We are very sorry that your husband found the gratin au Dauphinois accompanying his pork chop not to be cooked to his satisfaction. We would have replaced it immediately had he mentioned this to me or to his server. I would also have liked to address your other concerns while you were in the restaurant instead of on this public forum, but here goes: Firstly, we serve artisanal French baguettes from Ghyslain, not plain bread, and include a small charge for our bread baskets as do many other restaurants. Secondly, Chef Patrick designs our menu so that all of the flavors on the plate complement one another. Guests may of course ask for a substitution, but we charge a nominal fee for doing so. And finally, as for our authentic and very popular Mussels Marinières, which is my grandmother's traditional recipe from the south of France, there is a substantial amount of cream already in the dish, and putting mayonnaise into it would be a travesty.

Charr'd is a culinary experience designed to give it's guest a true taste of Kentucky while highlighting one of its greatest creations Bourbon!
Staff was engaging, bar atmosphere was nice, extra room to sit and work or drink as well as good places to eat and hold more formal conversations. Food was delicious and good selections of bourbons. Really nice upgrade to the traditional and predictable hotel restaurant.

We learned about Mussel & Burger Bar five years ago from an employee who was working at the nearby Liquor Barn. The group we go to the Kentucky Derby with every year LOVES mussels, and it has become our new annual tradition. There aren't enough accolades in the world for the food and the staff! We tend to be a bit jovial and unorganized when we eat at Mussel & Burger Bar - ordering drinks and bowls of mussels somewhat haphazardly. This year, Hannah did an awesome job keeping up with us, as have other servers in past years. We started with the usual - the absolutely fantastic Curry Cream Mussels (don't forget to ask for lots of bread to soak up that heavenly sauce). We all have had several other dishes over the years - perhaps covering the entire menu with the 10 of us - and not one thing has been short of delicious. I personally have had the C.E.O and B.B.B Burgers, the Chèvre Fig Salad, Fois Gras, and Beef Sliders. The beer selections and cocktails are also pretty great. We look forward to our annual meal at Mussel & Burger Bar and cannot wait until Derby Week 2020!Suzanne,We are so excited for Derby 2020 already! and very thankful to be one of your annual go-to-places. We are also very lucky to have Hannah on our team- I'll pass the kind words along to her. Thank you for taking the time to give a thorough review. Can't wait to see you again next year! Cheers!
