I have had lunch at the Brasserie du Château.The place is nice (old fashioned restaurant).The food was very good.My friend had a hind carpaccio. Quite unusual but really good and tasty.On my side, I took deep-fried shrimps dumplings. Excellent with lemon and fried parsley.As main dish, my friand ordered a classical tuna carpaccio and I had an américain-frites (finely-minced rauw beef mixed with mayonnaise, onions, capers and an eggyellow. Classical but very good.A bottle of house red wine to drink, nothing to die for but decent.Price was in the high end (â¬60 pers person).Anyway, a good lunch expérience. Will come back for dinner.

we drove all the way to this restaurant from Leuven to eat a cote a l'os on the terrace. When we arrived we looked at the state to the terrace area which was terrible and not maintained. We then decided to sit inside. After we ordered the cote a l'os we were told that they did not have any and we could have a normal steak or entrecote instead. we decided to decline and leave so we have no idea what it would have been like. On a hot day we were looking for a nice terraced restaurant in Brabant Wallon where we could eat a cote a l'os, this was apparently not the case for either. The general antompshere of the place is a kitch and probably looks better when its dark?? we wont go back again.

I have been eating yesterday with a friend and we were quite satisfied. Nice smiley welcome and during the evening. Great starter Fondu de Brie and croquettes de maredsous. The main dishes were served in quantity , homemade fries but not sure that the sauces are also 100% homemade... But globally good value for money
