While staying at the Holiday Inn, we stopped by Jimmy Guanas for dinner and drinks. It is a fun spot on the Intercoastal Waterway with a great view. The food and service is good and the prices are reasonable. They have live music on the weekends. Unfortunately the band we saw took more breaks than they played. We timed them. They would play 30 to 35 minutes and then take a break for 40 minutes. Hopefully the owners aren't paying them much. Despite the music,it is worth a visit.

We happened into JD's for breakfast one morning, then came back a day later for lunch. This is great home cooking. We had a breakfast meal of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast, and it was all perfectly cooked and delicious. For lunch, between the four of us (including 2 13 year olds that can't be pleased if it doesn't involve boneless wings), we tried the shrimp basket, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken quesadilla. All were great. The side of fries was way too big for one person, so there's plenty to share among a few people. The crinkle fries were nice and crispy, and all the food was great. Service was also great. We had the same server both times. Be sure to read the "specials" that are hanging from the ceiling, as they are not listed on the menu, and the peel and eat shrimp I really wanted but didn't get because no "meal" was offered on the menu, was actually available as a "special" on the ceiling. The food here really was excellent, and we will definitely be back on our next trip, for both breakfast and lunch or dinner. Prices are quite reasonable, as well.

3 girlfriends having dinner with no reservation, but there was plenty of room at the high top tables in the bar! Chris T. was our server. We had a delicious meal, 2 of us had the yummy shrimp & grits and our friend had what looked like a loaded lobster roll! The house chardonnay wine was good - crisp and light - perfect with the shrimp.Thank you giving us the opportunity to serve you! We appreciate the 5 star rating and review and look forward to having you back soon!

Enjoy seafood and steaks prepared just the way you like it. Indoor and outdoor dining with a beautiful atmosphere for dining with family to date night or just alone. Chef Jason S. Vargo has daily features to add to a beautiful daily menu.
Our server was not very attentive or enthusiastic when I asked about details regarding the food. Never refilled my tea. I started with the Ahi tuna. It was exceptionally dark tuna with a tasty rub on it. Had to ask for pickled tuna which typically comes with Ahi. No particular sauce. Portion average for the price. Expected more for the money. Had great expectations for the brisket. Although it had a good taste aided by the BBQ sauce on the side although fork tender it was very much on the dry side difficult to chew with absolutely no fat which is what makes brisket good. To tiring for the jaws to eat all of the generous portion. Food over all good for the rest of the party. Place was not particularly inspiring on decor. Did have a clean very nice restroom. With so many other choices Iâd probably skip a return visit. They do have a extensive menu with lots of options . Place was not busy at prime time.

We stopped her after we read and heard from locals about the great food. We wish we stopped earlier in our trip because we would have gone several times. I ordered the lobster roll. It had thick chunks of lobster and the roll was toasted perfectly. I had the pasta salad as well and you could tell it was homemade. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich and it was delicious. It was the authentic blackened and not caked with seasonings. Very good! Service was amazing as well.

We had not intended to look for pizza while being on the gulf but at the recommendation of some friends gave it a try. The 'salad and a slice' for lunch was a perfect balance of a generous salad plus approx. 1/4 of a medium pizza. Price was $6.95 so a very good deal.

We ate lunch here with friends and we all had the daily special of fish and chips, which is great value at $7. We all enjoyed it and cleared our plates. We also made the most of the happy hour drinks, especially the ladies who had Margaritas. Our server, Nicki, was very pleasant and nothing was a problem for her. Weâll definitely be back to try another special, probably the grouper cheeks which other friends have highly recommended.Beedubya, thank you so much for the great review! We are so happy to hear you had an excellent experience with us and we know Nicki will appreciate your feedback. We can't wait to serve you again soon!
