We had a couple of meals here. The food is absolutely amazing especially the goats cheese, the beer brilliant and you couldnât ask for nicer staff absolutely fantastic. If you are staying in or near Holt make sure you visit

Sunday lunch and not many people dining here., we dined alone in the garden. Good points- attentive staff and varied menu. Bad points- roast pork had no flavour (although vegetables, gravy & potatoes were good) Vegetarian chilli was awful - microwaved rice and no garlic bread even though it stated on menu. Nice chips arrived later but the grey chilli made from tofu? Soya? Quorn? I wish it had said on menu. Maybe we made bad choices? But we will probably steer clear in the future.

A traditional countryside pub, restaurant and B&B, located on the North Norfolk coast, near the Georgian town of Holt. Off the beaten track, The Wheatsheaf resides in the tranquil village of West Beckham.
Visited recently... Have visited previously but has recently changed ownership. Atmosphere was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very well prepared.. but i did expect a larger serving with some form of potatoes for the money...not just a small salad .. had a side order of fries at £3.00 which i thought was an expensive addition to what should have been included with the meal..

The King's Head at Letheringsett near Holt offers a homely mix of original features and modern-day comfort in its bar, restaurant and guest rooms. It is surrounded by beautiful parkland just a stone's throw from Holt and other lovely Norfolk towns. Our 4
As children in the 1960s we had summer holidays with our cousins in Letheringsett. Apparently this pub was going then - it's a few hundred years old - but we were too young to visit. We're old enough now, and were in plenty of time for the service at Northrepps, but it was a bit early for booze. So we had coffee, read the breakfast menu, and watched Japan miraculously beat Ireland in the Rugby Union World Cup. Should've had a fiver on them. Still wondering why they tell guests to wear shoes outdoors! Thank you for your very kind review, glad you were able got watch a Rugby match whilst enjoying the ambience of our lovely pub. Shoes outdoors is a summer request for 'kids' who play in the garden. We look forward to welcoming you again very soon.

Went here for dinner with the family and was most impressed with the service and the food and it was an excellent meal thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.The portion size is certainly enough to satisfy a healthy appetite and we enjoyed it so much that we are going back again in the next couple of days and would throughly recommend this place for a good meal.Staff were friendly and service was very good.Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent visit to our establishment. We are all pleased you enjoyed your meal enough to give us such an excellent review and to patronise us again on a repeat visit. This is testament to the hard work of all the staff in providing quality food and service. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Feathers Hotel on your next visit to North Norfolk.

Set in rolling countryside in the heart of Norfolk. A traditional village pub run by multi-award winning chef Ben Handley, his wife Sarah and their team.
Partner had panzanella salad, which seemed to be a plate of cheese dotted with occasional tomatoes and croutons. Lacking in salad leaves. My aubergine with dukkah was tasty but could have had some accompaniment to break it up. Overpriced and pretentious. Service was also rather arrogant (look of horror when asked for sweet chilli sauce).

We really enjoyed our visit for Lunch. The seafood was superb - really good indeed. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. Lovely table by the log burner. Prompt service. Nothing to fault. Packed out so clearly popular. Definitely recommend and hopefully will eat again here in the future.
