The Farm Kitchen is a café serving fresh home made food including delicious breakfasts, freshly prepared lunches, Friday fish and chips, Saturday 'chef's specials' and Sunday brunch.
We visited the Farm Kitchen last April whilst we were staying at Swiss Farm Touring Park and found it to be excellent. Good quality, fairly simple but well presented and in the ££ price bracket. On our recent visit we had Sunday lunch with our daughter and family who were staying at the campsite, dinner on our own one evening and breakfast on our last morning. All these meals were really good and very enjoyable. The Sunday lunch menu had two sizes of meal, small and large. I had a small portion of the roast chicken which was more than enough. One portion could easily be shared between two younger children as they donât mind giving you an extra plate for sharing. There is a well stocked bar, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They do have a policy of dogs only allowed in the conservatory area but on the Sunday lunchtime there were no tables available in there and the waitress let us sit in the restaurant. I noticed that another dog was in there as well, laying under a table so I think they relax the rules rather than risk losing paying punters!!It is great to have such a pleasant, licensed eatery on a campsite.

Traditional market place pub serving quality home cooked food, casual dining from doorstep sandwiches to steaks, sea bass, venison sausages & mash, beer battered cod & chips, chefs specials and Sunday Roasts. Food is served daily from 11.30 Am until 9pm a
Visited on a Tuesday evening and very quiet. Service ok.Both had starter of crosstini with mushroons and stillton- edible but bread barely toasted and stilton none existent.Lasagne special as mains. Came out immediately after our starter plates cleared and clearly microwaved. We both had to send back to reheat as cold, mine still came back lukewarm and garlic bread barely coooked.Lasagne edible just but completely tasteless and without any flavour or seasoning- left most of mine.Bill of £64! for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks.Very bad expensive pub grub. Should have known the writing was on the wall when an adjacent table ordered sausage and mash and they were told there was no mash left!My advice would be go somewhere else, anywhere but not here.So disappointed, feel mugged.

Ok, room at back, 10of us. Unfortunately adjacent tooutside area and smoke from smokers wafted in. Food was good, however hand cooked chips not so. Chips donât have skin on, and should be crispy and delicious, unfortunately yours were not. Steak cooked as required. Staff friendly and accommodating.

This was my first time at The Maltster's Arms and it was a pleasant pub with flavorful food. I had a spicy marinaded chicken with a bean salad, mango salsa and a honey glaze which was tasty followed by a Scottish dessert called Cranachan which included whipped cream, raspberries, oatmeal and honey was absolutely delectable and sweet! My mother enjoyed her sea bass and her chocolate and hazelnut terrine! The bar staff were absolutely friendly and considerate all the way! The service was spot on and I will return to this Brakspear pub again!

One of Henley few remaining traditional public houses serving a great choice of drinks and homemade daily specials as Well as traditional pub food . Run by Nigel and Julie since 1999
Went here for an evening meal while walking the Thames Path.Decor is a little dated with fruit machines and snooker table quite prominent. However, the welcome we got was really friendly and the food was excellent. We had a shared starter which was delicious and plentiful.I then had homemade fish cakes which were fab and my husband had fish and chips which again was excellent. We felt really well looked after and you couldn't fault the food for value and quality.Well worth a visit.Hi OxonLioness . So glad you decided to choose us for your evening meal. Hope you enjoyed your walk . Thanks for your review, we are a very friendly pub with traditional pub facilities, darts , pool, BT and Sky sports. Thanks

Antony & Jay Worrall Thompson describe The Greyhound, their restaurant and freehouse in Rotherfield Peppard near Henley on Thames, as their âperfect localâ. Seasonal food is key and Antony goes out of his way to support local producers. Described as AWTs
Went here the other night for our 4th wedding anniversary and came away so glad we did, it was the perfect night, food and service for our special occasion. The service as you would expect is exemplary and the food....wow is all we could say. Had the scotch egg starter and my wife had mushrooms on toast which were exceptional and then had a chateaubriand to share with sides of honey roast carrots, triple cooked chips and buttered greens with Parmesan and bacon. It was amazing to look at and tasted even better - seriously one of the best meals out we have had. We were so full we couldnât manage pudding but the staff surprised us by bringing out a little brownie and happy anniversary plate complete with sparkler which was a lovely surprise and touch by the venue. Anthony worrell Thompson came out also towards the end of the night to greet everyone in his chef whites which again was nice to see that he was in the kitchen making what is beautiful food. I would say this place isnât the cheapest but you do get what you pay for and it was worth every single penny. Will definitely be back and would highly highly recommend.
