Looking like a pub on the outside (so expecting just decent pub grub) The Plough is a tardis of comfort, freindliness and far higher standard of food than we were expecting. Half a delicious lobster each, with salad and fries (nice delicate ones), followed by apple tarte tatin. Ingedients are locally sourced where ever possible and it shows in the taste. Normally known to be a critical diner, I amazed myself by being able to find fault with a single thing. A perfect evening out. We will be back.

The Rose and Crown at Mundy Bois is your quintessential County pub in the middle of an idyllic part of Kent. The 17th Century building has seen some comings and goings over the years but is now in the safe hands of Dermot and Lisa Nally since November 201
Have been here three times in past few mo the with my wife and children. Always very friendly staff. Great choice of food including vegan options and kitchen has been happy to modify items to make them vegan... they have a beer festival, comedy night and music from time to time. Great place - search it out, support it!!!

Looking forward to our lunch we were greeted with "we have no bitter" Have been here many times and have watched it recently slide away. They no longer serve their excellent meat pies and the menu is a bit bland. We had fish and chips on the basis that you can't spoil fish and chips but were wrong. The fish was bland and the batter very light. Chips a disappointment too. A pity as we used to like the pub but won't be going back again.

Terrific pub with terrific food. Five of us had a very tasty Sunday lunch here. The interior of the pub is warm, welcoming and traditional with a splash of modern. Service was delightful - very quick and very helpful with the landlady coming over personally at the end of the meal to introduce herself. Great range of Sunday Lunch options that was of a very high standard with generous portions of meat, roast potatoes and stack of lovely fresh veg. Good wines and very l well kept pints of Master Brew. Everything was very fairly priced and quality was not compromised. In such a beautiful village this place is ideal for a visit by anyone of all ages. Thank you very much.

Came here for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Great food and friendly service. The pork came with a very nice stuffing and lovely crackling. The Beef and Lamb were cooked to perfection and the cauliflower cheese that came with the vegetables was just so good. This was our first time here and we will be coming back. Great little place.

Weâre pretty much regulars here visiting after a day of skydiving at the airfield and usually more than happy with the food and service. This visit on a Saturday evening was no exception, we ordered and our food arrived pretty swiftly.I had the burger, which is served cooked in a wrap with onions and cheese if preferred, was good, and I washed it down with a very good pint of Harveys bitter. My partners scampi and chips was good too. Will visit again.

Met Here with friends for the Sunday carvery. Good sized dining room means it was full but not noisy, lots of good conversation going on without disturbing others. Food was well prepared and a good quality and quantity. The four courses were good value for money. If you get the choice have a table by the windows as the views over the golf course are worth it.
