The Village Restaurant is our little corner in The Creek. Our recently-renovated restaurant in Stoney Creek features an extensive menu that is sure to satisfy even the most discriminating of tastes! We are open at 8am for breakfast, lunch & dinner daily.
Recently ate Dinner here for a family birthday party. Chicken Quesadilla made me sick, spent the whole next day running to the bathroom. Never going back !Thank you for letting us know and Iâm not sure what happened? I really wished you would have called us immediately the next day so that we could investigate ... All of our food is made fresh and food turn-over is quick. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] so that I can understand better. I apologize if there was something in your meal that did not agree with you. Hoping you are feeling better! Mary & Staff.

Our second location, featuring an on-street patio (May-October), a wide range of craft beer, a unique menu built using local and quality ingredients, crazy shakes (and not so crazy shakes). Reservations for the second floor coming soon!
We were 11. 2 kids. 2 vegetarians, 1 extremely picky eater. Service was decent and so was the food. Not amazing but decent and cooked right. Same fot the taps of beers. If you don't come with high expectations you'll be fine. Coliflour wings, and jalopino cheese balls were standard and pirogi were disappointing. Burgers were cooked right. Service was professional but a little slow, like they were missing a server.

The patio for this place is so cute and cozy - but it was a rainy day so we sat indoors. Itâs a small interior, so it wasnât possible to escape all the fussy baby noises. Not the restaurantâs fault! But itâs condensed seating, so just beware if youâre wanting a romantic experience that it may be affected. Itâs a cool, old timey interior with loads to look at, but per the other review I read of here, it could use a cleaning/dusting and there are a lot of flies everywhere. Sweet potato fries were on point! But the quesadilla was so soggy on the bottom it wasnât much fun, (probably microwaved to melt cheese). The service was average. Wine prices are very very high. $17 for a 9 oz of Stoneleigh is among the highest prices in the area - especially for a small pub. If I were in the area, Iâd pick Brassie Pub 10/10 times. (Also, the ceiling seriously looked like itâs buckling. Kids running upstairs sounds resonate in the dining area.)

This place looks the same as it did when Fred Purser and the Washingtons were playing regularly. Food is good, but expensive. Place has a bit of a musty smell.

radius Hamilton offers handcrafted cocktails and chef prepared dishes served in beautiful spaces that date back to Hamilton circa 1874, with original 16 foot tin ceilings.
Beautiful place. Amazing food. Lots of food. Clean. Fantastic staff. We went on a Monday so it was fairly quiet but the staff were fantastically attentive. The food tasted amazing. Highly recommend the melon and prosciutto and the Huli Huli Chicken. Although the price is a little higher, the taste of food and amount of food is 0 worth it. Will definitely return.

We took the family to The Keg to celebrate our grandsonâs graduation. I have never had a bad meal in a Keg since my first visit to the original Keg and Cleaver in North Vancouver. Our sever, Ashley was very personable and helpful, enhancing our dining experience. Our steaks were perfect and even the younger kids cleaned their plates. They have a nice, reasonably priced wine list and good desserts. If you havenât tried it you should go.

Hamilton's crowdfunded taco bar. Serving all the tacos from whitefish to pork belly, and must-try ceviches. We have a vast selection of tequila and bourbon, and if straight spirits aren't your thing, our extensive craft cocktail selection will suit your t
Stopped in for a bite and drinks before a long drive, loved that they play movies above the bar rail for entertainment. We ordered guacamole, calamari, wings and pork belly. Everything was very fresh and we didn't wait long even tho the place was packed. The sauce with the calamari is spicy and oh so good!! I was listening to the bartender talk to another patron about tequilas, he really knows what he's doing!!

I went for lunch today with my family. Staff was rude, turned multiple people away when there were empty tables. Blatantly lied about time to turn over tables. Ie saying two hour wait when many spots outside open. Took a long time to take order, mixed up drinks, asked for bill two times before brought out. When we received the bill they were wrong. Music included songs with multiple swear words, including one about âb@$@$&$ and hosâ and explicit sexual content. It was hard to then discuss this with our 8 year old niece. Even if she wasnât there I wouldnât have enjoyed that. Only positive - food was good. We wonât be back to this location however, as the staff was not welcoming at all, and the atmosphere was miserable.

This was my third time visiting The Ship. This time was just for drinks and a snack. Surprisingly the place was not busy, a change from my previous visits. The sweet potato fries and dip were AMAZING, a great complement to a beer. Keep in mind this place is 21+ on weekend nights.

We had a delightful late lunch here yesterday. We were seated on the sun-dappled patio with various herbs in the nearby planters. Our choices were the cured trout, Reuben spring rolls, and meatloaf. The trout was superb. The Rueben spring rolls were creative and tasty. The meatloaf was comfort food but honestly, we can make a meatloaf just as good at home. We will definitely return for an encore.
