ASK Italian in Great Malvern is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Ita
Went on a lunch time to have a family B/Day get together, the restaurant was quiet but it was a wet Monday lunchtime so understandable. The service was impeccable, I really cannot fault it in anyway and is the reason I give it 5 stars. The food was served quickly and well presented, if I have to pick up on anything I would say the calamari was disappointing and I would not order that again. But I would order the new menu item on the sweet menu again - Warm Cookie & Salted Cookie Gelato and I'm not particularly a desert person, it was outstanding! The whole table had a very pleasant time and we would happily return.

Wonderful location nestled on the slopes of the Malvern hills. It is a traditional pub and we received a warm welcome from the staff and the locals. The home cooked food was excellent. I'd particularly recommend the beef and ale pie, probably the best I've had in my life. Fish finger sarnie was also good. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and beer garden but not in the restaurant. The views are supposed to be fantastic although the weather was not great on the times we visited. Board games, playing cards, uno, dominoes were available which was a god-send for entertaining my son when the weather was not great. Beer was very well kept, good selection of local ales. The Shropshire Lad was particularly drinkable. Would like to see a couple of darker beers on, but that is a minor complaint. Really excellent pub, would highly recommend for a good meal after a walk in the hills.

A traditional village inn serving a good choice of beers and ciders. An extensive menu of traditional pub food. Beef bourguignon and salmon and sea-bass served with quite generous portions of potatoes and vegetables. What was really nice was that the pub was dog friendly and we were welcome into the public bar to dine with our pup. A large garden with tables also available for families with dogs. Only negative: no gate across the entrance to the garden which opens onto a road leading from a nearby caravan and camping park.

An exceptionally fine public house with enormous character.Real ale, Real food.
My wife and I attended the 3 Counties Show Ground for a horsey event and wanted somewhere for a good evening meal.We looked on trip advisor and found this pub; so good, we came back on consecutive nights.Warm and friendly feel despite being a locals pub, we sat in the bar both nights taking our chance, rather than book to go in the restaurant.Good beer on tap and the food was great, I had the beef pie, lashings of gravy and lean and tender beef, not the usual rubbish some outlets hide in a pie.Thoroughly recommend for good food, beer and atmosphere.

We were on holiday in the area and stopped for evening meal, booking advised. The pub has been done up so it is trendy olde world. Nice garden next to the village green. We ordered soup for starters, it was very hearty a bit too much for a starter. large amounts of vegetable and meat too filling, be good for lunch. The main meal we had chicken and it was very nice but it didn't really prove to be very satisfying as a meal. All the food was freshly cooked and seem to be locally sourced. The service was good and the staff friendly. The car park was a little bit small and when busy would be full.. We thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got.

Initially thought it would be busy as we went on Tuesday after August bank holiday and still being the school holidays but it wasn't. A couple of ladies were lunching and we were followed in by another small local family.Landlord was jolly and didn't waste a minute imparting his knowledge of wine, being an ex wine merchant. Don't expect fancy wines though, he sells Lidl's wines among others, which are just as good as other more expensive brands. But we're not here to talk about the wine. We ordered food which took over half an hour to arrive (maybe in the hope we'd drink more to stave off the hunger?).When our fodder eventually turned up we were all happy with it. The burger enjoyed by our daughter was very good. She also liked the accompanying BBQ sauce.Hubby had ham, egg and chunky chips which he enjoyed whilst I had the goats cheese on brioche toast with red onion marmalade. All were cooked well and our host kept his eye on us, making sure we had everything we wanted and were happy with everything. ! Don't attempt to go on August Bank Holiday because he doesn't open then. We went on Tuesday

Real Ale. Real Food. Real people
Lovely character pub just on the outskirts of Great Malvern. Lots of free parking available on the road by the pub. I had booked a table (advisable) for the 3 of us for Saturday lunchtime in the restaurant area which is a bit quieter with more space than the bar area. The vegetarian tagine was excellent. Westons (still) and Stowford cider on draft.

Situated in the heart of Malvern with views of the Priory and the Vale of Evesham, Mulberry Tree Restaurant & Bar has a relaxed, country house feel in keeping with its Georgian townhouse surroundings. The vibrant decor of Mulberry Tree adds to an upbeat d
Yes the table was very good and the casual furniture is very comfortable. First of all the service is VERY SLOW - and they were not busy .A starter of smoked salmon would normally come with thin sliced brown bread - but not here. We asked for some and were eventually brought some rolls but NO butter ! One of our fish and chips was burnt to a crisp and had to be replaced. Sea bass had only one small fillet and a minimum of vegetables and was grossly overpriced. The belly pork had been overcooked and also came with barely a vegetable. A rump steak was not very good and no steak knife was supplied until asked for. Then came the ice cream - it was very good but it had little crystals of sugar which should have been disssolved. We had remebered that this restaurant was pretty ropey under the old owners - it's no better now, just more expensive without any justification.Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. Regarding the comments about the starter, our menu does not state it comes with bread at all, although when asked, this was provided for you. We do not do slices of bread, we only provide another starter of 'home made bread rolls and olives' which can also be ordered. I am sorry to hear the haddock was not cooked to your liking, the staff working on the evening of your visit rectified this as soon as this was mentioned. Our menu and the meals we serve are all carefully chosen by our head chef, we work with local suppliers to be able to serve fresh and seasonal produce, this will reflect in the price due to the quality of ingredients we use. Our portion sizes are a staple regular size, although if some have a larger appetite we do offer side dishes, this allows the guest to enlarge their own meal to their desire. All our desserts are homemade and we are glad you enjoyed these.Regards to the 'old owners' ,the Hotel and Restaurant Owner has been the same owner for the past 17 years.Feedback is very important to us, we will pass your comments onto the team.Kind Regards, BenRestaurant Manager & Mulberry Team.
