Love coming in after a long day of sports with the family or just to meet up with friends and family. The avocado burger is wonderful and a must have with a side of onion rings. The avocado burger has 1/4lb patty with cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo sauce - giving it just enough kick! My mom likes the Kal-i-fornia burger - grilled chicken with avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, & onions with a mayo sauce. The kids like to build their own burger or the tenders basket and my husband likes the wings - naked with ranch....

Cotton Patch Cafe is a Texas-inspired, home-style restaurant serving Southern classics. Famous for its Chicken Fried Steak, Crispy Fried Catfish and other specials like the King Ranch Chicken Casserole, and homemade Chicken and Dumplings. Don't forget abo
The food is always great and this restaurant is in a perfect location. It is located downtown Grapevine the Christmas capital of Texas. The serving sizes are large and the service staff is very friendly. Will definitely return especially when we crave comfort food and as a bonus get to enjoy the downtown scene.

We ate here several times during our stay and we were never disappointed. We ate here around 10:30pm after getting in on a late flight. The burger was delicious! The BLT was satisfying, although not good quality. The next time we came for lunch. We ordered the burger again since it was tasty the 1st time and this time is was just as good! The chips on the side were just as good, if not better, than the sweet potato tots. We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was scrumptious! The meals were good size and the service was always friendly. The big screen televisions made it enjoyable to watch the different sports programs and football games they had on.

Nominated "Best Burger In Dallas" by NBC DFW and many others. You'll enjoy our friendly staff, ice cold beer & burgers. Jakes Uptown is a true local Texas Tradition of "Burgers, Beer and Atmosphere" since 1985. Henry James said once "it takes an endless a
Was in Grapevine and Jakeâs was the closet place for breakfast. Jakeâs has always seemed more bar than breakfast but thought I would give it a try. Nancy took great care of us and the coffee was good and strong, but the food was disappointing. The French Toast was soggy, the biscuits and gravy were an off the shelf biscuit with flour tasting gravy. The omelets were bland and while I am not a grits fan these were hands down the worst ever. Next time I will stick with the burger. So sorry to hear you did not receive the Jakes level of service we are so famous for. It's evident we missed the mark and I would love an opportunity to make it right. If you have the time please reach back out to me at [email protected] ShierVP of Operations

Big, juicy hand-cut steaks. Crisp micro-brewed beers and ales fresh from the in-house brewery. An impressive rustic lodge-style setting. If this isn't heaven for a hungry outdoorsman, then what is? Bring your appetite, and get ready to dive into our heart
They have a huge menu and drink selection. Really enjoyed the margarita and beer flight. We ordered steak very good but I really liked their bread and baked potato better. Server was very attentive.Thank you so much for this positive and excellent rating and review, Bridgetpianos. We are so pleased you enjoyed your delicious meals and beverages. We thank you,and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you.

The bar area is SMOKEY. The dining area is walled/glassed off from the bar. But I still came away smelling like smoke.Nothing to say about the food. It's hard to FU a salad.I rated "value" very low, because the smoke odor plays into the overall experience, and hence, the overall value.I will not go back again. So many other smoke free restaraunts in the area. We're disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not more positive. We know that the smell of smoke can be burdensome. We hope that you give us another chance in the future, perhaps on our patio. We also have a non-smoking location in Fort Worth. Thank you for the feedback!

Attended a private party at the Glass Cactus. What an amazing venue: large dance floor, full stage, several bars. Definitely worth a visit for a quick drink!

Went here for dinner with colleagues while in town visiting customers. We started off with the Hoot & Hooty's Queso plus some burnt ends for the table. I had the backyard chicken with mac and cheese and fries. Everything was delicious! Pricing is reasonable for a smokehouse, looked like they had some fun cocktail drinks - full bar, fun atmosphere, and service as good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Iplanned my visit to Tolberts several weeks ago when I learned a long time friend's band was playing there. Having never patronized the restaurant, I really didn't know what to expect food wise from the chili parlor with the famous moniker in downtown Grapevine, but it was a good surprise. Parking couldn't be better with a well lit public lot next door, a side entrance next to the stage that allowed me to grab a front row table a few feet from the stage. Eating later than normal, I asked for a menu, but not wanting the signature dich of red, I ordered the 8 oz. ribeye with a side of sweet potato fries and pintos. Asking for medium rare and expecting a medium steak, I wqs surprised that the well seasoned cut was actually medium rare. The fries were good, but the beans needed some extra seasoning (cured with the salt and pepper shakers).I was told the restaurant has live entertainment 5 nights a week which is nice coming from a town where decent live music means going to a dive bar. Question is would I go there again? Most certainly, the menu looked interesting and the frito pie is highly recommended (a Texas delicacy) but I'd leave the spicy items for earlier in the day.

This place serves seafood three ways: fried, grilled, and blackened. I had grilled catfish. It was okay, not great. This is one of those seafood restaurants where they give you a platter of french fries and hope you don't notice that they aren't serving you much fish. My highlight was the banana pudding. It had too much whipped cream and not enough banana pudding, but it was good.
