Called on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get lunch in the garden by the river. This place is in the middle of nowhere so is lovely and quiet. We had scampi and chips in a basket while watching the sailing boats racing in the river.

The staff were friendly and extremely patient. It has a warm atmosphere, the right type of cosy, but also the kind of place you could just relax. The standard of food is wonderful, lovely menu and it tastes delicious. Garden for summer, and comfortable seating indoors for winter. recommend any season. Visit very enjoyable.

We were recommended to this curry restaurant by friends and went as a big group. The. Menu was extensive and we had a selection of different curries between us, I chose a chicken with mango dish which was a house special, this was very disappointing, seemed to be no spice in it at all very bland and almost a tomato sauce texture, the kormas looked very nice and there was a good amount of meat in the dishes. The biryani was very tasty. Itâs says the first puppadum is free but they were halved and worked out at only three quarters each only a minor thing but not as advertised. . The Peshawar naan was very good some some items were ok others were very mediocre . The prices are not cheap so it was a disappointing evening out. The staff were polite and helpful but sad to say itâs not somewhere I would go again.

A lovely old building, although quite dark inside. There are stairs to go down from the door to the bar, so I am not sure if there is disabled access. There are some tables outside which provide a good view of the pedestrianised area of you like people watching. The charcuterie board looks delicious.Thank you for your positive review.We are glad you enjoyed the sharing platter too. If you ever require disabled/ wheelchair access, we do have it via our side entrance.We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We so wish we had a lovely local pub like this one in our village! Friendly and welcoming, excellent reasonably priced menu and comfortable seating areas.We had a very tasty, well prepared meal with good service. This is obviously the reason that this place was so busy on a Monday evening!

Visited the Royal Exchange for lunch with our dogs, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they even treated our dogs.The service was slick and our meals arrived hot and tasted very good. First visit to this restaurant to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.. The meal was out of this world. Very large portions and good quality. The waiting staff were very attentive and did a great job. The food was well priced and I would highly recommend a visit here.We will definitely be going again and tell our friends how good this place is..
