I do not understand the negative reviews of this restaurant....I just discovered it three weeks ago and have eaten there 6 times! I love the country dinners and all of the sides--mashed potatoes, pickled beets, green beans, lima beans, French fries, cabbage and cole slaw. I have usually been there during off-hours, but I have always had very friendly service. I just hope that the smoke in the separate bar will never flow over into the very quaint dining room.

The last time we visited about three weeks prior, we had an excellent experience with properly cooked food and attentive sevice all while the restaurant was extremely busy. Because of the awesome dinner we had, we brought a couple from Newport News over to share in the experience. Unfortunately, tonight we we very disappointed. We had the pork chop, two orders of prime rib, and the Mongo burger. Food came out cold. Prime rib, vegetables, and the fries were all cold. Good flavor, but not the quality we expected and wanted to share with visitors. Even the rolls were brought out after the dinner arrived and even those were cold. We mentioned it to the waitress and the manager came out to see what the issue was. Repeated the issue of the cold food and he offered to bring more fries and thanked us for letting him know and he would go back to the kitchen and make a "teaching moment" out of it. Stated that there were quite a few large parties in the restaurant, but unless a large party is a table of 4 or more, I am not seeing but 1 table of 6. Not happy with this experience and definitely not what we expected. Going to be a long time before we attempt this again, if ever. Not even a discount offered. What a shame.

We stopped here on the way back from Yorktown. It is a smhomemadepitaall place hidden in the rear. When we walked in, there was only a bartender/server/hostess/etc. She was very nice and very friendly. She seated us promptly and took our drink order. If you love appetizers, you will love this place. The crab dip is very good. My daughter loved the homemade pita chips. The pretzel mozzarella sticks are amazing. They are so tasty and the homemade beer mustard sauce is the perfect compliment. The burgers are hand made and very thick. I ordered mine medium, but the thick center was medium and the thinner outside was well done. This is a nice place but a little dim and looks like it caters better to a night life. The cigar/vape chest in the entrance is a little off putting. The staff is very nice, the appetizers are amazing, and the burgers are good.

We are a family owned local restaurant working to provide great food and entertainment for those people looking for a relaxing laid back atmosphere without all of the negative aspects you see at other bars. We are a casual American restaurant with outstan
Okay from Route 17 the place doesn't look like much. It doesn't even look like much inside but the staff is friendly and go out of their way to make you happy and want to come back, there is always a good crowd, and the food is fantastic with fun titles. I really like this place allot. Go and enjoy. :) Oh, and sometimes there is paint night which I've attended.

Home of the world's first craft beer lemonade slushie! Family friendly dining on the York River. Classic American diner food including pizza, burgers, subs, sandwiches and kid friendly food.
After noon with friends.. decided on dinner at Larryâs Lemonade. My gluten intolerant friend who is diagnosed with celiac ordered a pizza with the gluten free crust. Except they gave her the regular crust and when we asked about it, they said their gluten free crust was crumbling and unable to be served. Gave her no notice of it. So she would have gone home to ridiculous stomach issues. Then we all finished our food and she was finally brought the one, of a few things she could eat. They were out of all seafood items, salad mix, and mozzarella cheese which is used on most of their pizzas. Essentially half of the menu was 86âd. Then we did ask to see a manager about all of the issues we had... we also had one meal come out completely wrong and sides messed up. The manager came to us and spinned his view on the fact that they took the pizza off... oh you mean the one that wasnât order and would have had my friend sick... thanks. My advice is to go to St Georgeâs where they have the lemonade and other better beers. Donât go here. They have a good location which will keep them in business but the service and the menu sucks since most of it wasnât available. We wouldnât go back.

We love the Colonial Patriot theme of the place, and the food can be pretty good too. We typically eat here about once a month. Our "go-to" menu items include the pulled pork BBQ, turkey club with chutney, fish & chips, and salads. They do tend to lack consistency though, which is why I didn't give them the "Excellent" mark. Food right out of the kitchen is often warm at best. It' s a cozy place. It's not exactly fast food. I figure if I'm going to wait for food cooked to order, at least serve it hot, and frequently it isn't.

My daughter and I love seafood and after attending the Deltaville Seafood Festival, we wanted fresh seafood so we scouted out the York River Oyster Company. It was so pleasant sitting outside by the water and the service was top notch. We had the Oysters Rockefeller which were excellent and perfectly prepared. We also had fresh oysters on the half shell which were so fresh and good! YUMI had the Seafood Trio for lunch and the sauce was light and flavor-full. My daughter had the Tuna Tower and was not at all disappointed. It was not only colorful but the perfect blend of tuna and avocado. Great meal with great service!!

Fun and exciting new restaurant located in the scenic Riverwalk Landing in historic Yorktown, VA. Cool and casual with scenic views of the York River and 20+ craft beers, artisan foods, seafood, salads, and fun appetizers.
The serving sizes were huge, the view is beautiful, the staff was great. This is a hidden gem and really good. Prices were very reasonable.

Our family had a great lunch here before exploring the Yorktown Battlefield. Softshell crab special was fantastic and the fish and chips special with fresh meaty haddock was great. Our kids burgers looked good too. Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. Beautiful view as it is literally right at the beach. Parking was easy, just in front of the restaurant. I would definitely come back again.
