Café, Bar, Restaurant & Accommodation open 7 days from 9am Fun, family friend atmosphere
My wife an I popped in for a coffee and a cake whilst travelling from Napier to Wakatane. Two coffees were good. Cakes looked better than they tasted. As often is the case.Handy for access and parking.

As relative newcomers to Gisborne we stopped at the Club for a quick beer. After signing in we relaxed in the large Sports bar, watched the Olympics and then ordered dinner as we found the locals quite hospitable The dinner was reasonably priced and more than sufficient for 4 tired travellers

Lovely setting with views over the harbour. Our waitress was really helpful in suggesting we ordered before a large party. The food - pan fried fish and scallop and prawn stir fry was excellent - really tasty. We shared the crepes for dessert. Definitely worth trying out.

We had lunch at Wharf after a drive through from Auckland. The cafe is set near the Gisborne wharves with lovely views out to the port. It is light, airy and roomy. Being hungry we ordered the seafood platter and were not disappointed...calamari, fish, salmon, prawns, mussels all deliciously cooked on a bed of honey roasted vegetables. Excellent value at $60 for two. Thanks for an awesome lunch. I had dined previously at Wharf nearly 15 years ago and enjoyed a superb dinner on that occasion as well. I would heartily recommend this place.

Checked online before we went and it said that they served all day then when we got there the kitchen was closed! Luckily we found Cafe 35 nearby and so the 6 children we had taken to the beach allowed us to live!On the plus side it did have nice views........

Meal was very nice and waitress was excellent. Unfortunately the front of house person was extremely rude on the phone (if it had not of been my daughters birthday choice i would have cancelled booking) she was rude when we arrived, we were told to wait out in the cold outdoor area with our three children, she did not want to put heater on when we asked her. She was rude to our large group when we were paying and leaving. We won't be back while she is still being rude to customers.

Out with friends and work colleagues after busy day with audit at work. Laid back, casual pub type place. Nice friendly staff and meals good. Table rated kumera chips that were shared prior to meal 5/5. Was a Tuesday night which is also quiz night which made it a bit busier and a bit noisier but we were were advised that when table was booked & were ok with it
