A Gibson's harbour favourite for over 30 years! Gramma's Marine Pub is the Lower Sunshine Coast's only waterfront pub. Located on Gibson's Harbour right next to Molly's Reach, we offer a friendly and comfortable atmosphere true to our name. A spacious mai
Gramma's is a local institution. An unfussy, old-school BC pub that's been around forever. If you're not too discerning and want some comforting pub food (Canadian pub food, not UK pub food)... you really can't be disappointed with Gramma's. On a Sunday afternoon in January, almost everything in Lower Gibsons that we intended to visit was closed for the season (Smitty's, Lunitas, etc.), so we came here - our group of 5 - and sat with all the other families in the sun room deck enjoying the spectacular view of the mountains, inlet and islands. We had BC craft beer (the Fat Tug IPA) and a variety of pub food for our lunch. Our server was excellent and the food was great. My mom had the fish and chips (it was excellent, she said), my dad had the oyster po'boy (it was excellent, he said), the teenager had the veggie pad Thai (he enjoyed it) and the two of us had the Wor Won Ton Soup (with a homemade broth, chicken, BBQ pork, bok choy, and homemade won tons), which was salty but comforting. Although I didn't have high hopes, I think we were all pleasantly surprised by our experience here. It is what it is - not a foodie destination, but a great local institution -a place where the local fishermen and mill-workers as well as local families and their kids come for meals. It's not fancy and that's the point. But it is comforting. My advice, if you're going to eat here, is to go with the deep-fried foods (fish & chips) or the burgers rather than the healthier choices, as the pub food is what they do best.

Modern, friendly, unique, and intimate. Upscale, casual dining room and patio focused on share plates with a Middle Eastern flavour profile. Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, and Keto-friendly menu options. Full bar with wine, crafted cocktails and local be
Friends from Bowen and us (Keats) wanted to get off our respective rocks and try The Pink House we had heard so much about.....my partner is not known for his healthy, ethnic eating choices so at first glance was hesitant....well he gobbled every bite and so did we all, the tomato mozzarella beet salad was fantastic, Brussels sprouts never tasted this good, the meatballs were a hit as was the yogurt dish but the dish that won him and us over was the lemon dessert. I hear they change their menu often which will give us lots of chances to make return visits......welcome to Gibsons Pink House Thanks for taking a chance on us - so glad you enjoyed your experience! Appreciate you taking the time to write a review!!

We did not have reservations so were put up stairs on a picnic table. Was very noisy. Food was ok, drinks were good. Menu is limited.

I realize Persephone is a business, after all, but it's almost a community centre. A community hub, that's for sure. We have a better than 50% chance of running into friends or acquaintances there. Great folksy/homey room, games to play, often live music. My only carp: I wish there was a bit of food on offer - simple bistro fare, for example. The food truck (on the premises) and pizza oven are not always open (typically work on weekends) so a bit of pasta or snacks would be a great addition.

Cool Oyster Bar overlooking harbor. Outdoor seating, good service nice people. Had a dozen oysters and a IPA for lunch. My wife had their specialty German bear.Oysters from New Zealand were wonderful, those from Prince Edward Island were lacking in taste. Expensive lunch as Oysters were $3.50 and $3.75 each
