Reviews on Bar food in Garrucha, Province of Almeria, Spain. Garrucha is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Garrucha is a seaport of south-eastern Spain on the Mediterranean Sea and the right bank of the river Antas. In 1998 the town had a population of 5000. The harbor of Garrucha, which is defended by an eighteenth-century castle, affords shelter to large ships, and is the natural outlet for the commerce of a once thriving agricultural and mining district. Garrucha had, at the beginning of the twentieth century a considerable trade in lead, silver, copper, iron, esparto grass and fruit, but now the only export from its harbour is gypsum mined in Sorbas, with a million metric tonnes being exported annually . Besides cargo ships, the port is home to a small fishing fleet and has approximately 300 moorings for leisure boats.

New owners since last year, food cooked to order, both food and beverages are very reasonably priced. Frequented mainly by locals. Good atmosphere.

We ordered a bottle of wine, the waitress arrived with a bottle of wine that has already open. We looked at the cork it was dry and when we later queried her about this, she claimed the wine had been opened 30mins beforehand. The wine didnât taste very well, we left half a bottle behind and left as soon as we finished our meal . We have never been to a restaurant where the wine is not opened in front of the customer. A very unfair review! You were asked on several occasions if everything was ok, and it was never mentioned then that you was unhappy. You drunk nearly all the wine, you cleared your plates of food, so not all too bad. If I can give some advice, please try and speak to the manager of a bar or restaurant at the time to resolve any issues you have, and they may have a solution to make your experience a happier one. One final point, we do open some wine early in busy evenings such as Fridays to speed up service.

Authentic Spanish tapas bar in great location. We serve top quality tapas, salads, burgers and sandwiches. We look forward to welcoming you at Aicala.
situated just above the town hall in a very sunny position, food and drink reasonable prices although you are being served from the other side of the road, sometimes the waitress gets your order wrong as it tends to get busy at certain times especially Friday which is market day.

Pub Millionaire is in a fabulous location facing the sea with plenty of outside seating. The staff are great, George, Laura, Emma and Colin are friendly and welcoming. There is a huge menu offering snacks (pancakes, toasties, burgers etc to dinners and are always excellent. Our particular favourites are the Chicken Curry, Chilli and the Millionaire Salad. Great place to watch all sporting events or just to relax after a walk along the Paseo or coming from the beach. Its a regular 'go to' for us

Family run bar/eatery. Good selection of breakfasts, lunches and evening meals plus a daily specials board. Beers, soft drinks, wines and spirits. Great views over the sea from the terrace. Quiz every Wednesday at 19.30. Sunday roast starts at 1 clock. Fi
Not new to Scottyâs, we came down for a couple of drinks whilst dinner cooked at home. Ready to leave, the smell of the garlic sizzling prawns was enough for us to go home, take dinner out and come back! They didnât disappoint! Not did the Thai vegetable curry and Hunters chicken. Watch the moon rise over the ocean, great food, drink and hospitality.

Stumbled across this restaurant for lunch. It is both a restaurant and a fishmongers. Everything we had was very well cooked and delicious; red prawns, grilled squid, roe and a tomato salad with bonito (cured/smoked tuna). Very much recommend appears to open until 4pm then shuts until 8pm for dinner. Very much worth a visit.
