Flight is located in the old Dopplegangers near the Minden, NV Airport. We stopped in for lunch yesterday, and learned that they have been open one month. Nice ambiance, Menu and decor all flight related. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh
We attended our dear friends' wedding reception at this restaurant which was a little hard to find. The wait staff were efficient and accommodating. I had a prime rib dinner and my wife had the fish entree. The prime rib was cooked to order, but the meat was not as hot as I would have liked. The fish was good, but a bit thin. The food was tasty enough and the appetizers (garlic chips and dips plus stuffed mushroom desserts were very tasty).

We're local and meet friends here for lunch every Tuesday. This has been our custom for the last two-plus years and we've never had anything that wasn't outstanding. You know you're a regular when Renee knows what you're going to have as soon as you walk in the door! It's your typical small airport cafe with a good menu, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. We could easily go somewhere else, but we keep coming back... that should tell you how good it is!

Our friends took us to this historic bar (oldest in Nevada est.1864) and what an experience we had. The interior looks like it had not changed since the bar opened. One item on the wall was of special significance. As the story goes Rachel Welch visited years ago and wanted to add her bra to the the wall display( a long tradition) however she insisted that all the other bras be taken down leaving her red bra alone on the wall. There it stands to this day although it now has turned black with age. Step up to the bar and your are greeted by friendly bar keeps. This particular Sunday it was quite busy with the tourist season but service was not effected. Plenty of outside seating is available also. And yes this is a full bar.

Kristopher's location in a small strip mall behind a gas station south of Carson City has always struck me as unfortunate, given the quality of their food. Now they have expanded into a new and more elegant location in the Carson Vally town of Minden. Hopefully they will "live long and prosper."

Stopped into this local watering hole while traveling through the charming town of Minden. I enjoyed an IPA on tap as well as a spinach-garlic pizza (made fresh to order). Beer and pizza were very good. Service was very friendly and although I am not a local, I was treated like âa regular.â Atmosphere is âold-schoolâ casual. Location is right in the heart of historic (downtown) Minden.

I try very hard to not give a place a negative review, but I have visited this establishment twice. On the first visit I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I visited at 8 pm and received dried out ribs, and under-cooked potato.Yesterday I spoke to one of the gals that worked there and she told me I should try it again, so last night for dinner I went again. I ordered the Halibut, on the suggestion of the waitress without the option of a price. Color me very disappointed. It had a lemon caper sauce on it and it was so pungent, I A; could not taste the fish and B; i could not finish it. I think I managed to get through 1/3 of it before throwing in the towel. The potato was ok this time around. However at 29.99 for a piece of fish that is about 4.5" in length, I felt like this was a HUGE mistake. I explained to the waitress ( she was very nice BTW) that this fish was really inedible but I had tried, she took my plate away and brought me my bill. 32.99 . I paid it, but just wont return. Additionally a party came in and asked if they could roll two tables together for a party of 5 but waitress said no and pointed them to the back room.

Ok, this is not for the BMW crowd or CA hills crowd ... but, if u behave and dont mention how u do things in CA u might survive here. Its a hoot - in a trailer park, but not 'that kind' of trailer park. Good burgers, ribs some days, cold beer. Its clean, friendly and interesting. Im from Phila, but I told them Omaha, sounds more macho. Nice outdoor seating, but all orders are at bar. Located just inside NV line, or right b4 u hit Topaz Lake going to LaLa Land. Its def a Trump stronghold, which is fine w me.

Just went in for drinks, but the bar had a good selection of beer, reasonably priced. Most of the customers were locals. Service was very friendly. Conveniently located on the main highway through town with a big parking lot out back.Only negative was the wifi didn't work well.
