Two generations of my family enjoyed ribs, broasted chicken and pasta at Alexander (the great) in Westland. Convinient location on Warren Rd near Westland mall.Plesant atmosphere, booths and tables. Accepts larger groups.Ribs bbq sauce is great and tasty on their sliced potaoes too.Recently 4star dropped to 3 with inconsistant ribs sometimes dried out.On this last visit my email Email invitation for family feast proved unacceptable! Higher prices, terrible customer service.Feast $36.95Slab bbq ribs8 piece chickenMostacoliLarge cole slaw or saladSliced garlic breadBread basket (crackers ,Italian bread sticks, butter)Potatoes not included, so we chose extra $1.95 one order enough for two.Great with bbq sauce.Cole slaw tangy sauce very nice.Chicken arrived broasted. Many small pieces noticed. Looking closer ....order had. 3 chicken legs, 2 wings,2 thighs, 1 breast.Strange assortment count for chicken.Both of us eat white meat so I brought to attention of server, assuming mistake in plating.Waitress returns stating kitchen short of breasts substituted leg piece.Manager requested.Shockingly,apparantly deliberate substitution.Turned out to be owner.stated "their choice of pieces" lists as 8 pieces not whole chicken for that reason.But those details are not offeredeven as we ordered.We expressed dissatisfaction but to no avail.. After us another family ordered same "feast". When asked, owner stabeingI don't have to tell family. We give them 8 pieces just as stated.We have done nothing wrong. "Our ribs were also noticably cut into pieces, not served as a "whole slab. The smaller looking "whole slab" meets owners criteria by rib count.Recently this feast price was raised from $34.95 to current $36.95. Beverages extra and potatoes no linger included.Trust lost, chicken not meeting our needs, Alexanders lowered standards deserve buyer bewarewarnings and one star warner.

I loved the Ann Arbor location and don't have any complaints about the Westland locale! My husband have visited twice and the food and service were great both times. They have your basic bar food! Plenty of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and pizza! Based on my experience, the French Onion Soup and pizza are fantastic!The bar is also impressive. They have a huge list of beers on tap as well as in bottles. In addition, they have a nice selection of wine and cocktails.It's in a great location with plenty of parking and near shopping!I'll visit again!We're thrilled you enjoyed your visits! You can always count on us for a tasty meal and efficient service. We hope to welcome you back for pizza and some brews again soon.Thanks, Jeff M., Owner

I eat here regularly. Food is good. You can't go wrong because Applebee's makes it a point to serve the same selections the same way at all locations. It's their standard and that's a good thing because you always know what you're getting. There are no surprises. Steak is great. It's my favorite. House salad is wonderful and more than just a boring side. Appetizers are good. If the mozzarella cheese sticks didn't stick to the arteries, I'd order them more frequently. Recently, I had the Berry Sangria and loved it. However, I asked for ice on the side so it really made the drink short. I just didn't want it diluted with a lot of ice. Long Island Ice Tea is good, but again, too much ice. This is not the place for a bourbon Manhattan, but the drink specials are excellent. Stay on the menu. The ribs were a little rude and I felt not worth the money considering that the best rib joint in town is just down the road. Waitstaff is always pleasant and wonderful. Place recently redecorated... it's still loaded with tons of TVs. Like I told the waitress yesterday, why all the sports shows? Some of us prefer other types of programs. This point is soooo moot that it's not worth harping. It's clean. Staff is friendly. You know what you're getting. Love it.

If you want standard corporate Italian fare with a noisy atmosphere, go here. Otherwise, try Luigi's for REAL homemade Italian a few doors down. OK for families or larger groups who don't care too much about quality. Group salads are sparce with items other than lettuce.

This place has been steadily going downhill for years. The burgers keep getting smaller and smaller The waitresses are rude the prices keep going out. I don't think I did hear for free. It used to be a Dearborn legend but they have ruined it.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon, just missed the lunch specials, so we ordered the Friday Fish and Chip Special!Cost was $7.95, came with coleslaw and French fries. Fish was very good!Fries were hot and the coleslaw was almost like homemade!Waitress was friendly and had quite the personality, humorous and witty. Beer prices were very reasonable, and served cold.It's an older establishment, looks a little worn, but that's part of its charm. We will return!

Great place to have a meal. Really look around and notice all the small details of everything and how it is decorated. Nice beer selection and plenty of food to choose from.

I love Rogalas; we have been going there for 30 years. It is a cozy little neighborhood restaurant. While it has a bar it has an intimate restaurant atmospere. The pizza is one of their staples and it always excellent. I am a fan of the old-school pepperoni pockets with grease. :-) Their italian and meatballs pizzas are also very good. The place has been jammed for the fish fry every Friday night for many years.On our most recent visit we had the meat loaf special and it was outstanding. Yum

Our grandson graduated from Michigan yesterday and the after get together was held at the Sports Venue. It was a good time and the food was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet and her name was Michele. I can see why my daughter picked this place. Good time.
