My wife and I went one lunchtime and chose from the a la carte menu. We both started with avocado and prawns. We both agreed that the prawns were watery and tasteless. The avocado was drench with a bland mayonnaise. Disappointing. For my main I had entrecote steak with chips. The chips were down at the McDonalds end of appearance and taste. The steak was rather tough. My wife had the duck confit which she thought was very dry and had been deep fried. The service was very friendly quick and helpful. The architecture of the building is evocative of late 19th century - exactly what you expect from a good brasserie, so it is not all bad!

We had a very nice Sunday lunch here. The food was excellent, well cooked, nicely presented and more than enough. Melon and ham starters for all. Beef skewers and trout for mains. Dame Blanche foe dessert. The setting is great for people watching and generally relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant lunch and enjoyed by all.

Excellent place for a quick (but still 3 course) lunch. Limited choice of meals but thatâs a beauty of this place. You get good quality simple food quickly and friendly. All at very reasonable prices.
