O'Connell's Sports Pub & Grille, best food in Huntington Beach at a very good price. 26 HD flat screen TV's. We are the west coast "Cheers Bar" where everybody knows everybody.. and if your new... everybody will make you feel at home and get to know you.
I visited O'Connell's to watch a ball game. The place was mostly full. While I was there, they even converted the pool table to a table. Because the Pub is in the corner of a strip mall, it's larger inside than you would expect. The decor is both traditional Pub and sports. Also, big screen TV's pretty much incircle the whole place. Not sure you could find a bad seat for watching a game. While there was no drink list on the menu, they have a good variety of food and the website says they have 10 beers on tap. It's mostly pub food, though there are some soup and salad options. They have specials every day. Even better, the lunch specials and afternoon special that you can order till 5 pm. This was good news for me. They also serve dinner daily and breakfast on the weekends. I did try the special of the day, which was a Chicken Philly. It came with a good sized side of fries. It was a tasty sandwich. Say "yes" when asked if you want mushrooms. I saw several other dishes around me, especially appetizers. During the afternoon the beer was well priced too. My server was Tammy and she made sure I was doing well and repeatedly checked in on me. I saw a couple O'Connell's T-shirts, so I knew there were a number of regulars. On the website they say "friends, family & neighbors". There was a comfortable feel about the place. In all, it's a good Pub that the locals know about. Food & service was good. They do have wi-fi. I don't know how many channels they can handle, but it's a good place for a game.

Pizza Restaurant Fountain Valley CA - Best pizza restaurant in Fountain Valley! Family restaurant with pizza, wings, subs, salads, beer, yogurt and more. Our pizza restaurant has a game room for the kids, Sports on TV with 13 HD TVs, including an 80 inch
The place was packed after a Travel Ball tournament and Sunday NFL viewing. Surprisingly, the food came out hot and fast. The pizza was OK, a bit doughy for my taste. The meatball sandwich looked awful, as the past sauce looked dried out and old, but the meat was still tasty. They have some cool looking, portable beer kegs that come in tall plastic cylinders. They also have video games for the kids in the backroom. Overall, the experience was acceptable.
Many restaurants with motels are so-so. This one was very good. Good food with a full bar and reasonable happy hour 4 -7. Since we stayed at the Ayres Motel, we didn't have to walk or drive to eat. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

Stopped by for a late dinner and the place was packed. Big screens all around, lively bar and excellent selection of their beers. The menu paired many entrees and appetizers to their beer selection. My wife chose the "Norm" Mac and Cheese which she loved. I selected the Beer Sausages platter, which was equally delightful. Our server Cynthia provided excellent service. Inside and outside seating is available.

We stopped by for an early dinner here on Sunday night following an afternoon of geocaching. As we arrived early (4:30 PM) there was no line and we were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress, Jordan, was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The menu hasn't changed for some time and the food is good and consistent. We had a couple of burgers, a mac and cheese and a tortilla wrap - all were perfectly prepared and done promptly. I had forgotten how much I enjoy their french fries. I know that everyone will have a different opinion on who has "good" french fries, I just like theirs!By the time we left (5:45 PM) it was somewhat busier and getting crowded so I'm glad we came early. It can be a little noisy as the floors are tile so the noise level can be reflected/amplified around the restaurant. Nothing different than some of the other chain restaurants one can visit.Overall, it's a consistent restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. I would return here.

You really must not miss this deal. There were several meals to choose from. One could also have 2 small dinner salads instead of the large appitizer. For 25 USDollars there are other meals like steak to choose from. We had one of the chicken dishes. The desserts were reasonable also. Friendly service. Does not cost an arm and a leg. Nice place to go if you want something other than fastfood while travelling.

Very poor service on a Saturday night. Server did not appear at our table for 15 mins after we were seated, and only after we asked the manager. Food was served promptly and was very good. Server took our dessert order, but did not bother to clear our dinner dishes! Another server brought dessert, and made a face when we asked her to clear the dinner dishes. She only took a few, and did not return. Original server gave us our check, but still did not clear the table. Had to flag down yet another server to take my credit card. All this time, many servers were scurrying past our table, but no one looked at us and wondered why we had so many dirty dishes! We've had much better service at other Lazy Dog locations. Will not be returning to Westminster. 3-star rating is average of 5 stars for the food, 0 stars for the service.

Stopped in for a quick bite . But quickly found out it was more than I expected. Numerous t.vâs and a very nice bar . Ordered the Philly cheesesteak which was tasty and adequate. Has a side of onion rings which were also delicious. The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly . I would certainly stop buy again when back in the area. Super good!!!
