Stopped in for dinner while spending one night in Chambersburg. Loved the brown ale, but couldn't get it in draft form - only bottles on the night we were there. Their draft list is extensive, but on the night we went, they were out of two different ones we were seeking. Good thing they had bottles for a back up (of course the waitress didn't know this, we had to point it out to her on the menu). Enjoyed both the veggie burger and the Euro burger. Both were perfect, and the fries were wonderful (as was the pickle). An overall great dining and beer experience.

Great looking venue, although chairs and tables are not comfortable at all. Craft beers, not to our personal liking based on the brewing style. Not sure if it is cold brewing or what, that makes all the beers cloudy and thicker. Prefer beers lighter and crisper I guess. Not that they were terrible, just not our particular style. Had good entertainment, but the area was small where they had them at, couldn't enjoy it that well.

Wings and basket of fries - actually more like a basket of French fry crumbs. The few long fries were about two to two and a half inches long the rest were an inch or shorter - and the were almost cold. Service was good although a bit of a handoff around crew meeting. Not up to BWubs food standard on this visit.

My wife and I finally decided to have dinner at the Norland Pub and had a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the Crabcake Dinner with 2 sides and my wife ordered Beef Brisket with 2 sides. The food was very tasty. Our server Saige, was very attentive.

Walked in and waited over five minutes before a hostess or anyone said anything. Even after the same waitress passed by us four times and we were standing next to the wait to be seated sign. Not acceptable to ignore your customers. Finally seated and after another four minutes ( I timed it) we got up and left. Good service would have any of the staff acknowledge you more quickly, even to say welcome and we'll be with you shortly, we're short staffed tonight, etc. Place was at most half full. There may be good Applebee's out there but this isn't one of them. Needless to say we don't ever plan to return.
