Try the mexican burger....and mostly all their house offers. I did try grilled calamari and they were great!!!
I love this place. There is a lot of seating but you will mostly find it pretty crowded. We always still got a seat where we could wait for free space in the first row at the waterline.

Here you can taste the famous Villacher Beer, served with delicious Austrian specialities.
This lovely restaurant, with a tree covered terrace, is less then 8 minutes walk from the train station. We had less than two hours between our train from Slovenia and our bus to Venice. This was a wonderful slice of Austria for us. The sausages were good, and the strudel was excellent!

Been there yesterday, the waiter unfortunately rather had a goof than talk with her clients who do not speak German, in English. The food arrived rather quickly, and the plates were very hot, which I liked a lot, since the food didn't get cold that fast. The most annoying thing was that the non-smoking area was not ventilated sufficiently, which made the air inside quite unpleasant.

Leo Schuster operates the Turmstüberl-Bar for over three decades now which is known as secret spot and "second living room" in Villach. Until late hours he serves craft beer, wine and regional delicacies such as his famous beef tartare and sasaka-meat. Be
Stumbled across this little gem on trip advisor and it did NOT disappoint. Such a beautiful, quaint and authentic environment with gorgeous local beers, great music and the most delicious ham and cheese toasty and bread and sausage. Not the place to go to if youâre looking for a full dinner or if you have a lot of dietary needs. But if youâre looking for genuine authenticity - this is the place! The owner/barman is so nice and friendly, offering opinions towards different local beers and helping with that tough âwhat to have to eatâ decision. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Villach that wants a true Austrian town feel.
