With the introduction of a new Executive Chef who is inspiring his team to a new level of culinary with a menu full of flavour that utilises the locally grown, fresh and organic produce Vanuatu is famous for. The popular favourites are always on the menu
This is well known amongst ex-pats and frequent visitors as a great place to relax and chill out for a drink or a meal. A nice pool adds to the atmosphere that i believe is accessible to guests. The menu has a good range, the prices are fair and the staff are the usual friendly and helpful people that you expect in this part of the world. If something that you have ordered does not show up, give them a prompt as "island time" tells us that orders get lost or delayed on occasions. If this worries you, take a holiday in a different country !!!!Visited a few times for lunch and/or drinks so cannot comment on the dinner meals, but expect the to be perfectly reasonable. Overall this comes across as a great establishmentThank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. We have been working on our menus and introduced some new items on our breakfast and lunch menus and will be shortly adding more options to our Dinner menu. Our staff are a great asset to the hotel and have always had great feedback from our guests. We have had great reviews as well for dinners and hope one day you will be able to come and try dinner with us. Once again thank you and hope to see you soon at The Tu Restaurant and Bar.

Enjoy the freshest of local seafoods and famous organic Santo steaks overlooking the beautiful Segond Channel. Your dining experience is one to remember and one to recommend.
The rooms here are nice, cleaned daily and the grounds are well maintained. The local staff are friendly and helpful. A 1km downhill walk into Santo. Would recommend a taxi back up the hill for 200 Vatu. Nice views and a pool to relax in. A little on the pricey side for food and drinks. The food is also very hit and miss. I had 2 out of 5 good meals, the fish Thai curry was great. Steak was not cooked to request and pork belly was not crispy. If diving, they have a really good wash bay for dive gear. A nice place to stay, I would definitely stay here again.

The Salty Dog Bar and Restaurant Based at Turtle Bay Lodge is a stunning venue for any time or occasion. Based on the point at Turtle Bay, surrounded by the ocean always with a gentle breeze, there are many secluded areas to dine and enjoy breakfast, lunch
Stopped in to Turtle Bay Lodge for lunch at The Salty Dog Bar and Restaurant returning from our car trip along the beautiful coast up to Port Orly.Set in an incredibly beautiful spot, we downed a couple of Tuskers and ordered a gluten free, vegetarian pizza with anchovies (yes, I know...) and it was sensational! So delicious and tasted like a homemade pizza that was made with love. We've had a lot of pizzas in our half century+ on earth and can honestly say it's up there with the best we've had (the other 2 were at Sutera Harbour Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo and TJ's in Langkawi). The Salty Dog Bar and Restaurant have an interesting and extensive menu and we'd have no hesitation returning and sampling their other meals. Highly recommended.
Stumbled across this little beach restaurant within Lonnoc Beach Lodge (NOT to be confused with Lonnoc Beach Bungalows and their restaurant).Beautiful outlook and relaxing spot right on the water. Bob, our very hospitable (when he ran out of Tusker he had a little child run off into the distance to fetch some more for us!) and friendly chef whipped up a couple of amazingly fresh and delicious curries for us. I ordered the Paw Paw Curry (I intend to try to recreate this at home) and my husband ordered the Santo Beef Curry - we shared both (huge portions) and they were utterly delectable.Nearby a meeting was being held between locals and foreigners, to create a dictionary of English and local words. Fascinating. Such a delightfully relaxing and lovely way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommended.Ran into Bob's uncle, the pharmacist (a real character!) at The Drug Store in Luganville - small world.
