Good friendly pub where staff speak excellent English. Haven't eaten here, I just go for the live music. Recent St Patrick's night was disappointing as the Irish dancing was modern jazz, not traditional Irish. However given this is rural Spain it's nice to get a pint of Guiness!

Very close to the Monasterio hotel where we were staying without breakfast, the Cuchara was a very good alternative.Inside a converted convent, the decor is interesting and the food is good, inexpensive and professionally served.We also came here for a quick lunch one day, but as we were in a rush to catch a train to Sevilla and didn't have much time, that worked out to be rather pricey - try to check if they have a menú del dÃa and make sure you have time to enjoy it if they do!

Visiting some friends and went here for dinner. We had the fish and chips, vegetable salad, fish tacos and curry. Appetizer was jalapeños, samosas and croquettes. Everything was great!Dessert was fantastic. Service was so very friendly. Playground for kids. Simply wonderful restaurant!!

Had two great meals at this little taperia. Great tapas and a fantastic plato of mixed seafood. Fantastic prices. We had patatas bravas ( large size) and a seafood platter for two that we couldn't finish (too big!), two sangrias and two cerveza's for less than 30 euro. Staff are very helpful and friendly, good English.

I liked the old fashioned atmosphere of this place which reminded me when I was a child and visited such places at seaside resorts in Italy ! Fish was good : fresh and tasty. Simple cooking but genuine. We had gambas a la sal and pijotas. Anyway I did not like the match with the local semi-sweet white wine we were suggested. I guess a good place for tapas too. Reasonable prices.

Not especially busy on a Saturday night, but we had made a mental note to try it. We went for some tuna sashimi washed down with some very palatable house fino. The tuna was good, despite being sliced into small squares (geometrically pleasing on the plate, but sometimes the palate needs a more substantial piece to tingle all the right taste buds).

Great little place to watch the world go by. Seats on the street gave us a grand view of the well-dressed locals making their way - via a wine or two - to a wedding. People watching perfection. And the service was good too.
